First, grass mulching and grass mulching is a water-saving technology with rich resources and obvious benefits, and it has obvious characteristics such as improving soil and fertilizer, conserving soil and water and increasing production. Cutting off the weeds in the orange orchard, using the weeds on the ladder wall, laying them in the tree plate and covering it with a thin layer of soil has a significant effect on reducing soil evaporation. Pay attention to fire prevention after laying grass.

Second, to improve the irrigation method, most orange orchards are irrigated by flood irrigation, which is often caused by soil consolidation, slow water seepage, serious surface runoff and large evaporation, which seriously affect the irrigation efficiency. According to the topography and water source of citrus orchards in our area, the irrigation technology of surface irrigation should be improved and the mode of water-saving irrigation should be popularized.

1. Furrow irrigation: furrow irrigation is a more advanced technology of surface irrigation, which saves more water than border irrigation. In addition, the surface evaporation after furrow irrigation is much less than that after border irrigation. The method is to clean the big ditch between the rows of the orange tree, open the ring ditch along the crown dripping line, and the water flows into the ring groove from the big trench, and the water is irrigated one by one. Hilly terraces can use back trenches to carry water. Soil should be covered and loosened timely after irrigation to reduce ground evaporation.

2. Ground hole infiltration irrigation method: around the orange tree, dig 3-5 holes, 15-20CM in diameter and 60-80CM in depth, and then insert twigs or straw into the holes. When filling water, water is injected into the hole. This method can not only quickly make water infiltrate into the root of orange tree, but also save water than flood irrigation, but also reduce or avoid the phenomenon of fruit cracking, falling leaves and fruit drop caused by drastic changes in soil and tree water conditions caused by flood irrigation.

3. Fulvic acid is a multi-functional anti-transpiration agent for regulating plant growth type in spraying drought-resistant chemical water-saving agent. Canopy spraying can reduce stomatal opening, inhibit leaf transpiration, increase chlorophyll content, enhance photosynthesis, promote root activity, accelerate absorption and transport, slow down soil water consumption and improve plant water status. The period of validity of one spray is as long as 12 murals for 20 days. The crown can be sprayed before 10:00 and after 4 p.m., once every 10 days for 3 times successively.

Fourth, ditch water storage hilly orange orchard, timely seal the two ends of the ditch in the staircase wall, and make full use of showers and thunderstorms to improve the soil water retention of orange orchards.
