Is summer the key to citrus management? During the period, citrus is in the period of fruit expansion, which requires a large amount of fertilizer, and it is also in the plum rain season, high temperature and high humidity, which is the peak of the occurrence of citrus diseases and insect pests. In order to ensure the high quality, increase production and income of citrus, it is very important to strengthen the management of citrus orchards in summer. The specific measures are as follows:

First, timely wipe off summer shoots and apply topdressing to promote stable and strong fruit: citrus fruit trees will successively shoot summer shoots from May to June, resulting in shoot contradiction and aggravating physiological fruit drop. When the summer shoots grow to 3cm-5cm in succession, they should be wiped off from the base, and applied water and fertilizer 3 times every 5ml every 7 days to supplement the nutrients consumed by the shoots and the nutrients needed for fruit growth. Generally, biogas liquid fertilizer (or bran dung water) 10-20kg is applied to each plant, plus 0.1-0.3kg compound fertilizer. At the same time, too dense branches, disease and insect branches and weak fruit branches were removed. Artificial fruit thinning is carried out for the plants that hang too much fruit, keep a large number of robust fruit, and remove small fruit, deformed fruit, disease and insect fruit.

Second, spraying foliar fertilizer to protect fruit: in rainy and high temperature season, it is beneficial to the growth of nutrition, but it is not conducive to the growth of young fruit, so we must spray foliar fertilizer in time to protect fruit. Foliar fertilizer with high organic content and high quality can be selected. Such as amino acids, Lvwang, phosphorus and potassium, while supplementing various trace elements such as boron, magnesium, zinc and molybdenum. The fruit trees that are overgrowing (especially sugar tangerine) are cut in the trunk to protect the fruit.

Third, timely prevention and control of diseases and insect pests. Summer is the peak period for the occurrence of citrus red spiders, scale insects, whitefly, aphids and other larvae. 1.8% avermectin plus acaridin or good winter, imidacloprid, perchlorate, acetamiprid and 25% propofol are used to control canker, soot and anthrax. Agricultural streptomycin, prochloraz, mancozeb, 50% soot coal spirit, 10% Shigao, 70% carotene and other agents can be used to control. Thoroughly cut down the diseased tree of Huanglong and find one and cut down the other.

Fourth, do a good job in orchard drainage and irrigation. In the "plum rain" season from May to July, for the low-lying stagnant land in the citrus orchard, it is necessary to comb the ditch and drain in time to lower the groundwater level, so as to be beneficial to the normal growth of the root system of fruit trees; during the drought period, it is necessary to store water and resist drought to ensure the normal growth of the root system, and it is best to use rice straw or weeds to cover the fruit plate when possible, so as to preserve moisture and moisture and promote high yield and income.
