The peak occurs in the orchard from 7 to 10:00 and from 3 to 5 p.m., mating and laying eggs in the evening, and rest in nearby bamboo forests, dense shady forests or orchards. 1. Use insecticidal lamp: hang on shady trees or set up brackets outside the orchard, 2 meters from the ground, 1 per mu, trapping and killing male adults every year to reduce the population density.

Use sugar medicine: hit 4 egg-sized holes in the middle and upper part of the mineral water bottle, and put a mixture of sugar water and trichlorfon in the lower layer, 7-9 per mu, hanging in the orchard in scattered counties, changing the dressing solution once every two weeks, which can trap and kill both male and female flies at the same time.

2. Insecticide: when the density of fruit flies increases from May to October, the whole garden should be sprayed with deltamethrin or cypermethrin 1000 times.

Because the fruit fly flies a long distance and has a wide diet, the control effect of a single method is not very good, so comprehensive control must be carried out and annual trapping must be carried out to reduce the population density.
