Most peach varieties mature early and have a long growing period from fruit picking to defoliation. This is the critical period of peach nutrition accumulation and flower bud differentiation, and the quality of management will directly affect the overwintering and growth and fruit of peach trees in the second year. Therefore, the following management measures should be taken after peach trees are picked.

First, after early application of topdressing peach tree to harvest fruit, the tree potential is weakened, so it is necessary to topdressing in time to restore the tree potential and promote flower bud differentiation. Peach flower bud differentiation belongs to summer and autumn type, and the flower bud differentiation period is from June to August. In particular, trees with too much fruit should be applied early to enhance leaf assimilation, accumulate nutrients and lay a good foundation for high yield. The topdressing of peach trees after fruit harvest should be combined with underground fertilization and crown spraying. Foliar fertilizer spraying can improve the photosynthetic capacity of leaves and increase the accumulation of nutrients in trees. 0.3%-0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be sprayed every 10 to 15 days, or 0.3% urea can be sprayed in combination with pest control. The types of underground fertilization are mainly high-quality ring fertilizer, soil miscellaneous fertilizer and mixed with appropriate amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium compound fertilizer and micro-fertilizer, pay attention to controlling nitrogen and increasing phosphorus and potassium. Generally, adult trees apply 100kg to 150kg of high-quality soil and miscellaneous fertilizer per tree. The method of fertilization can be applied in the soil around the crown with a depth of about 50 cm in annular ditch or radial ditch.

Second, ploughing and spraying fruit should be ploughed and loosened to remove weeds in time, with a depth of 15cm to 20cm. Timely cleaning of peach orchard weeds and fallen leaves buried under trees, but also should do a good job of ditch drainage, when there is waterlogging should be quickly removed, the roots washed out by the water should be protected by soil cultivation. In order to protect the leaves, make them have strong photosynthetic capacity and enhance the accumulation of nutrients, emphasis should be placed on the control of diseases and insect pests such as peach tree perforation, floating dust, peach aphid, red spider, leafminer and leafhopper. It can be sprayed with 50% carbendazim 800x, or 50g carbendan soluble powder 500x, or methotrexate 2500 times, or 40% dimethoate EC 1500 times, etc. In addition, the disease and pest fruit left on the tree and the disease and insect fruit on the ground should be concentrated and buried deeply.

Third, pruning promotes flowers, as the saying goes, "No flowers, no fruit". The sprouting and branching ability of peach trees are relatively strong, and the branches grow many times a year, which is easy to close the crown, poor ventilation and light penetration, affecting flower bud formation and flower quality. Therefore, the cross branches, overlapping branches, disease and insect branches, thin and weak branches and crowded branches in the crown should be removed, and the bald parts can be cut around to promote the growth of new branches and occupy the space. The methods of pulling, twisting, bending and circle can be adopted to improve the light, concentrate nutrition, form good flower buds and slow down the process of outward movement of fruiting parts. The overgrown peach trees were sprayed with 250~500PPm paclobutrazol solution once after fruit picking, and then the Autumn Equinox was applied to the soil according to 15 grams of paclobutrazol per tree.
