Experience of high yield and high quality of greenhouse peach covered with old film

Peach trees are light-loving fruit trees and sensitive to light. Photosynthesis of leaves cannot be carried out normally when light is insufficient. The place with sufficient light has many flower buds, plump and good fruit quality; the place with covered flower buds is shrivelled and the fruit quality is poor.

The old film covering the peach trees in the greenhouse will cause insufficient light in the greenhouse. Scientific experiments show that water droplets, grass clippings, dust, etc. on the film will reduce the transmittance of the film by about 30%; after 2, 10, and 15 days of use of the new film, the light in the shed will be reduced by 14%, 25%, and 28%. The old film used for a long time, the more grass clippings and dust attached to the film, the more water droplets attached to the inner surface of the shed due to film aging, and the weaker the light in the shed. Some people have done greenhouse peach cover new film and cover old film (all PVC drip-free greenhouse film) contrast test, the former yield 3160 kg per mu, fruit large, color thick, hardness, high sweetness taste good; the latter yield 2528 kg per mu, yield reduction 20%, fruit small, light color, hardness small, sweetness low, taste poor. Through comparative experiments, it is found that although the old film can save 1200 yuan per mu, the income per mu is 3600 yuan less than that of the new film. It can be said that sesame seeds are picked and watermelon is lost.

In order to increase the yield of peach trees covered with old plastic film and bear high quality fruit, we have found out four experiences after several years of practice.

1. Increase the lighting time. Under the premise that the temperature in the shed is not less than the temperature required for the growth of peach trees, try to open the curtain early and cover the curtain late.

2. Keep the film clean. Regularly clean the dust and grass clippings on the greenhouse film, remove the water droplets on the inner surface of the greenhouse, and clean the snow in time on snowy days to enhance the transparency of the greenhouse film.

3. Remove the sunshade blades. Fruit expansion coloring stage, remove the fruit above the shade leaves. If the planting density of peach trees is large and hidden in the shed, more leaves can be removed. The principle is: 20~25 leaves per fruit for varieties with early maturity and small fruit; 25~30 leaves per fruit for medium-mature varieties (medium-sized fruits); 30~35 leaves per fruit for late-maturing quality (large fruits), and 40 leaves at most.

4. The whole shed should be ventilated. During the fruit expansion and coloring period, when the average temperature of the day is stable at 13℃~20℃ and the temperature in the shed exceeds 25℃, the whole shed should be ventilated greatly, the upper sheet of the shed film should be lifted up to the ridge of the shed, and the front bottom skirt should fall to the ground level, so that the sunlight can directly shine into every corner of the shed. As a result, there is plenty of sunshine in the greenhouse, the temperature is relatively high, hot air continuously rises and flows outside the shed, cold air continuously flows into the shed from the lower part of the front of the shed to supplement, which speeds up the air convection. With sufficient sunshine, the peach leaves strengthen photosynthesis, thus producing more organic matter, making the flesh full, hard, colored and sweet.
