Tree peony (Latin name: Paeonia suffruticosa Andr.) is a perennial deciduous shrub of Ranunculaceae and Paeonia lactiflora. Beautiful flower color, jade smile and pearl fragrance, elegant and unrestrained, magnificent, known as "king of flowers" reputation. In the cultivation type, it can be divided into hundreds of varieties mainly according to the color of the flowers. " Peony variety, color is also many, to yellow, green, flesh red, crimson, silver red as the top grade, especially yellow, green is expensive. Peony flowers are large and fragrant, so they are also known as "national color and heavenly fragrance". Mastering the flowering technology of peony can better create the economic benefits of peony, so how to promote flowering of peony?

Pot time greenhouse to promote flowering, as long as the method is appropriate, temperature, sunshine and moisture are suitable, generally about 45 days can blossom, so potting time can be determined according to the required flowering time.

In the early spring, the growth and flowering of peony in the field is from low temperature to high temperature, and the temperature should be controlled from low to high in greenhouse. The Prophase temperature generally ranges from 10 ℃ to 14 ℃ during the day and from 6 ℃ to 8 ℃ at night. After 7 days, the temperature can be controlled from 14 ℃ to 16 ℃ in the daytime and from 10 ℃ to 12 ℃ at night. Keep this temperature, put on the pot for about 10 days, the flower buds can sprout; after 15 days, buds can appear. Because of the high indoor relative humidity, sprinkling a little water once or twice a day can meet the water needs of the plant.

After mid-term management of peony budding, it enters the normal growth and development stage, and the temperature can rise to 16 ℃ to 18 ℃ in daytime and 12 ℃ to 14 ℃ in the evening, and enter the "bud stage" in about 20 days. During this period, the buds are very sensitive to sudden changes in temperature, and often abort due to poor resilience of young buds, so the indoor temperature should be relatively stable.

About 28 days later, the plant entered the "leaf expansion stage". The temperature can rise to 18 ℃ to 20 ℃ during the day and 14 ℃ to 16 ℃ at night. During this period, in addition to sprinkling water twice a day, it is also necessary to pour permeable water every 2 to 3 days depending on the degree of dryness and wetness on the basin. At the same time, foliar fertilizer can be sprayed properly.

About 35 days later, the bud entered the "flat bud stage". The resistance of flower buds is enhanced, and it gradually adapts to the rise and fall of temperature. The daytime temperature can be kept at about 16 ℃ to 22 ℃. In order to prevent the occurrence of stem rot, foliar fertilization can be combined with 600 to 800 times of Rhizoctonia solanacearum or 50 times of 10% methyl topiramate wettable powder.

After 42 days of late management, the buds enter the "blooming stage" and can open in 2 to 3 days. At this time, the plant can be removed from the greenhouse according to the number of flowerpots and the time it takes to bloom. At the same time, the unused plants were stored in a cold room of 2 ℃ to 4 ℃ and removed after 10 to 20 days, and they could still bloom normally.

Light-regulated peony is a long-day plant, and flower buds form in long-day sunshine and blossom in medium-and long-day light. Therefore, when there are more cloudy days and lack of light, the light source should be made up manually.
