Key points of out-of-season cultivation of Chinese chive with plastic film
Leek yellow is also known as "leek bud,""yellow leek bud,""yellow leek," commonly known as "leek white," for leek after softening cultivation turned yellow products. Chives isolated from light, completely grown in the dark, because there is no sunlight supply, can not carry out photosynthesis, synthesis of chlorophyll, will become yellow, called "leek yellow." Because it does not see sunlight and is yellow-white, its nutritional value is inferior to leek. It belongs to perennial herb of Liliaceae, and is used as medicine with seeds and leaves. It has the effects of strengthening stomach, refreshing, stopping sweating and astringency, tonifying kidney and helping yang, and strengthening essence. Distributed throughout the country.

Key points of out-of-season cultivation of leek with plastic film
Leek yellow is a kind of light yellow, fiber-free, fresh and delicious product produced by leek cultivation in dark and no light. It is a kind of high-grade vegetable. The traditional methods of producing leek are tile softening, soil softening, straw shed softening and so on. In recent years, the agricultural technology department demonstrated the new technology of black plastic film mulching to produce leek yellow, and achieved obvious results. After plastic film mulching, the soil temperature in the film can be increased by 3℃~5℃, which is beneficial to the growth of leek. With jumping roots and need to change the stubble of chives, covered with black plastic film, can produce 2~3 seasons of anti-season chives, in October ~ December market, and this time is the vegetable "off-season", so the price is good best-selling. Black plastic film mulching technology can produce high yield and good quality leek, with yield of 700~750 kg per mu, 500~600 kg for second crop and 200~300 kg for third crop.
The selection of leek plots has been planted for about 4 years, because of the growth of root jumping and need to change stubble replanting leek plots, generally can harvest three crops of leek yellow. Leek plots in the peak leaf production period and not in the stubble replacement period are generally not used as objects for anti-seasonal leek production.
Black plastic film mulch can be covered from late September to early November, but the best mulch is in late October. If the film is too early (such as before mid-September), it is easy to rot due to high temperature; if the film is too late (such as after mid-November), it will stop growing due to the dormancy of leek body, and the yield will not be obtained. Bamboo frame can be used for arch shed. The planting land shall be divided into compartments according to the width of 1.3~1.5 meters. The arch frame shall be covered with black plastic film every 1.5 meters, and both sides shall be compacted with fine soil to prevent light leakage. Note that it should not be covered under high temperature or overwet soil after rain to prevent rot and death. After covering, ventilation openings should be set at both ends of the plastic arch shed, plus shading plates to prevent sunlight from entering the shed directly. A tile cylinder is placed on both sides of the arch every 3 meters to facilitate ventilation, temperature and humidity regulation.
Field management fertilization should be carried out 15~20 days before mulching, 30~40 kg of nitrogen and phosphorus compound fertilizer should be used per mu, and furrow or hole fertilization should be adopted. At the same time, watering should be controlled to prevent excessive soil moisture. No topdressing after black film covering, so as to avoid rotting leaves caused by ammonia volatilization due to high temperature in the shed. Disease and pest control and other field management measures are the same as those in field leek.
Timely harvest leek yellow about 25 cm high, just appear scattered pier phenomenon, dry tip on the leaves and accompanied by sticky wet shape to harvest immediately, otherwise in a short time can rot dead leaves, even the whole pier rotten. Generally speaking, as the temperature decreases, the harvest days increase correspondingly, and the harvest can be harvested in 7~9 days at high temperature, and the longest days do not exceed 15~17 days.
