I. Variety selection

It is best to choose fast-growing varieties of purple garlic or white garlic, such as purple garlic, bamboo garlic, Baigong garlic and so on. The garlic yellow produced by this kind of garlic has strong growth, neat cold resistance, strong disease resistance and high yield.

Second, build a pool for thermal insulation

Choose vegetable plots, open spaces or indoor spare rooms in front and back of the house, and build them with bricks to a height (depth) of about 60 centimeters. The length and width depend on the cultivation land and the number of cultivation.

Third, planting garlic at the right time

Choose garlic with large cloves, uniform size and positive color. Peel off the coat, remove the rotten cloves, garlic plates and garlic bolts, and soak 18Mel in clean water for 24 hours. Put the garlic cloves in the pond (or on the border), the top should be flat, and then cover with wet fine sand or sandy loam with a thickness of about 2mi 4cm. Use about 15kg of garlic per square meter. Generally, it can be produced continuously from Cold Dew (early October) to the Spring Equinox (late March) the following year. When most of the garlic seedlings grow out, cover the pond with grass to cover the light (close the windows for indoor cultivation). When the seedlings are about 10 cm high, spray water every 2 days. When planting garlic cloves for 3 days after planting, we should find a frame to cover the grass curtain to cover the light, soften the garlic leaves and promote their yellowing growth.

IV. Temperature management

Before unearthing, the temperature should be controlled at 25 ℃ in the daytime and 18 ℃ at night, while after the garlic seedlings were unearthed, the temperature should be kept at least 18 ℃ 22 ℃ in the daytime and no less than 16 ℃ at night. When the seedling height is more than 24 cm, the temperature is kept at 14 ℃ 18 ℃, which can be reduced to about 12 mol 5 days before harvest.

5. Water management

Spray water immediately after planting, and spray water every 5 days during the growth of seedlings. Less water in the early stage of growth, high temperature in the later stage, large seedlings or fast drainage of sandy loam soil, so it should be drenched more, and the garlic yellow should be stopped 4 days before harvest to make the garlic yellow grow thick. Spray 0.1% potassium dihydrogen phosphate or 0.2% Mel 0.3% urea solution every other week or so, which is beneficial to increase the output.

VI. Ventilation to see the light

Softening cultivated garlic yellow generally does not uncover the grass curtain, if the garlic yellow is snow-white, you can choose to open the pond or arch shed at noon on a sunny day a few days before harvest, in order to improve the color and quality. If there is high temperature and humidity, it should be ventilated to prevent rotten seedlings.

7. Timely harvesting

Generally, it can be harvested 25 days after cultivation (40 days after direct cultivation), and the garlic yellow can be harvested when it is 36ml 43 cm high. After 20 days or so (about 30 days of direct cultivation), the second crop can be harvested. In general, after the garlic is harvested for the second time, the garlic should be taken out, the sand, the whole bed (or pond) should be taken out, and the second sowing should be grasped.
