Tea seedlings are the seedlings of tea trees, meaning seedlings. Below, we will introduce the following cutting propagation techniques of tea seedlings.

1. Schedule and production process:

(1) preparation period: the end of July to early September of the first year

1. Nursery site selection: choose farmland with irrigation water source, good drainage, and no seedlings have been bred in recent years. 2. Soil preparation: the height of the seedbed is 30cm, the width of the bed is 100cm, and the length is determined according to the plot, generally no more than 25m. 3. Laying yellow core soil: before cutting, spread the yellow core soil without sand and stone on the seedling bed, the thickness of 4cm. 4. Prepare the sunshade net with wide 150cm, agricultural plastic film and materials for shed construction.

(2) cutting period: mid-September to early October in the first year

1. Selection of cuttings: one-year-old Lignified branches of tea clones with healthy growth were selected to cut along with picking. 2. Cutting: cutting with single leaf, cutting length 8cm, cutting depth 3cm, cutting density 450plants / m2, that is, 180000 plants / mu. Keep the seedbed moist by sprinkling water while cutting, and immediately build a bow-shaped shed and cover it with a sunshade net.

(3) Seedling management: mid-September of the first year to the end of March of the third year

1. The first stage (from the middle of September to the end of November of the first year): mainly sprinkle water to maintain the humidity of the seedbed, and spray thiophanate and other fungicides every 5 times every 7 days. 2. The second stage (from the first ten days of December of the first year to the end of March of the second year): cover the agricultural plastic film on the sunshade net again, do a good job of moisturizing and heat preservation of the seedbed. 3. The third stage (from the first ten days of April to the end of June of the second year): remove the agricultural film, continue to do a good job of moisturizing and sterilization of the seedbed, and apply 0.15% urea fertilizer outside the root in late May, once every 10 days. 4. The fourth stage (from the first ten days of July to the end of September of the second year): mainly do a good job of moisturizing and high temperature resistance of the seedbed, apply nitrogen fertilizer appropriately according to the seedling growth, and remove the sunshade net in time according to the Lignification degree of the seedlings. 5. The fifth stage (the first ten days of October of the second year to the end of March of the third year): this stage is the seedling nursery stage, according to the needs of afforestation units, timely do a good job of seedlings out of the nursery.

2. Technical points:

1. Before cutting, do a good job of disinfecting the nursery, and spray the seedbed with 1000 times liquid of 50% wettable topjin powder to ensure that there are no germs in the nursery before cutting. 2. When cutting seedlings, soaking the cuttings with ABT1 rooting powder 100ppm for 5 hours can shorten the rooting time and improve the survival rate. 3. Moisture management at seedling stage is the key to ensure the survival of tea seedling cuttings, to control the humidity of the seedling bed, too wet is easy to cause bacteria invasion; too dry is not conducive to rooting, affecting the survival rate.
