Pepper bacterial wilt is a typical bacterial soil-borne disease, and its pathogen is Pseudomonas solanacearum. Bacteria survive for a long time, mainly through the invasion of plant stem wounds, agricultural operations such as transplanting and loosening soil, and root wounds caused by insects can cause bacteria in the soil to invade and propagate rapidly under the condition of high temperature and humidity.

The initial symptoms of pepper bacterial wilt only showed the wilting of one or more of the youngest leaves, which could be recovered at first and tended to be stable later.

Agricultural measures

1. Sow seeds early. Ralstonia solanacearum usually occurs in the first and middle of June. In order to avoid meeting the peak period of the disease and the peak period of fruit, the seeds can be sown earlier.

2. Select sandy loam with good drainage for cultivation. After the soil is turned deep, the 800-fold solution of new high-fat film is sprayed to disinfect the soil, keep heat and preserve soil moisture, which is beneficial to seed germination and growth.

3. Crop rotation has been carried out for more than three years. Bacterial wilt can harm many kinds of Solanaceae crops, where the previous crops are tomato, eggplant, pepper, it is not suitable to grow chili.

4. Pay attention to drainage. Ralstonia solanacearum can spread with the current, high ridge and narrow border cultivation, pay attention to timely drainage, there can be no water in the border.

5. Pruning, loosening soil, topdressing and other work should be completed before the disease period. After the disease, special attention should be paid to not loosening the soil and weeding. If there are weeds, they can only be pulled out by hand to avoid root damage.

6. when diseased plants are found, they should be pulled out in time, and tree protection generals should be sprayed in the cave and adjacent soil to sterilize and disinfect to prevent spread.

Measures of traditional Chinese medicine

At the initial stage: when diseased plants were found, immediately use "Olik-Qingkulike" 100-150ml (the dosage depends on the expected incidence and the severity of continuous cropping) + garlic oil 15ml mixed with water for 30 jin to irrigate the root (at the same time, the effect of spraying is better), once every 3 days, continuous use for 2-3 times; after the disease is controlled, turn to prevention.

In the middle stage of the disease: Orlick-Qingkulike 150-200ml (the dosage is determined according to the degree of the disease and the severity of continuous cropping, etc.) + garlic oil 15-30ml + chlorpromazine or chlorphenicol manganese zinc or Shenzinmycin and other internal absorption agents are evenly irrigated with water for 30 jin (at the same time, the effect of spraying is better), once every 3 days, for 2-3 times; after the disease is controlled, turn to prevention.
