Strawberries will be on the market when the Spring Festival is approaching every year. It is very pleasant to make an appointment with some friends to pick strawberries at the weekend. Do you know how strawberries are grown in the face of such delicious strawberries? Let's look down together!

Scientific cultivation and Management techniques of Strawberry

1. If the ridge surface is not covered with black film, a thick soil cultivation is carried out in late September combined with loosening soil and weeding, so as to promote the seedlings to take more roots and prevent the roots of the old seedlings from being exposed.

2. Cover overwintering to mid-late October, when the temperature drops to a maximum of less than 15 ℃ during the day or below 8 ℃ at night, build a greenhouse as soon as possible, with a width of 6 to 9 meters and a center height of 2.5 meters. The covering material is PVC film with a thickness of 0.08 cm. From late March to early April of the following year, with the rise of air temperature, the films on both sides of the greenhouse began to be opened in order to reduce the temperature in the greenhouse and improve the degree of ventilation and light transmittance. the temperature in the greenhouse should be less than 30 ℃ in the daytime, 20: 25 ℃ in the daytime after flowering, and not less than 5 ℃ in the evening.

3. The flowers on the third and fourth branches of the inflorescence are often sterile or only form invalid fruit. When the buds begin to separate from each other before flowering, whether the time of bud thinning is later than the blooming period. For qualified farmers, it is best to put a swarm of bees in the shed from the first flowering period of strawberries to facilitate flowering and pollination and improve the rate of fruit.

4. Topdressing after strawberry formation, urea or compound fertilizer 10kg / mu and Gymboree microbial fertilizer 5kg / mu were applied to accelerate plant growth, facilitate new leaf development and promote flowering and fruiting. In addition, 0.3% 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be sprayed on the leaves for 2 times for 3 times. When the fruit was expanded to about half of the fruit, 10 kg of ternary compound fertilizer (15% each of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) was applied every 15 to 20 days for 3 times in a row.

5. Fine picking begins in early December and is picked every 1-2 days. The harvest period of a variety can generally last until the end of May. During the day, the appropriate time for picking is in the morning, and the dew dries until the heat comes. Fruits picked in wet dew or picked in the rain are easy to rot and should be avoided as far as possible.

Key points of Management of Strawberry in flowering period

1. Flower thinning and fruiting. In the bud separation period, the flower should open no later than the first flower, and the weak inflorescences and high-grade buds in the lower part of the plant should be thinned, and only 2 or 3 strong inflorescences were retained in each plant, so as to increase the number of fruits, promote ripening, concentrate the harvest time and prevent premature senescence. Inflorescences after fruit picking should be removed in time to promote the emergence of new inflorescences.

2. Topdressing. When strawberries enter the budding and early flowering stage, timely topdressing helps to improve fruit setting rate, fruit quality and yield. This time, topdressing should be based on phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and appropriate amount of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied. Generally, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer should be applied to 8kg per mu, or 0.3% urea, 0.3% potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 0.2% calcium sulfate or 0.05% manganese sulfate can be sprayed on the leaves for 3 times.

Matters needing attention after Strawberry sowing

1. Strawberries should be watered frequently after planting and kept in a cool place to moisturize. Do not be too dry or too wet, always keep the soil in the basin moist. In summer, it should be watered in the morning or evening. Keep the pot in the shade, which is good for strawberries to grow.

2. The temperature of potted strawberries varies greatly, with emphasis on low temperature and high temperature in winter and summer. In the north, the pots can be moved indoors in winter to raise the temperature. The high temperature in summer should move the basin to a cool place to cool down.

3. After 2 years of planting, strawberries can be replaced with new seedlings. Or replace the small pot with the big one and replant it. Reload the nutrient soil into the basin, then plant the seedlings and water them.

4. The air humidity during flowering should not be too high, which will affect fruit setting and fruit quality. Potted strawberries can be planted all year round, but the survival rate of transplanting is the highest from September to October in autumn.

Points for attention when picking strawberries

1. Small scissors can be used when picking strawberries.

2. Hold the sepals of the strawberries by holding the wine glass, and with a slight twist, you can pick the strawberries, which is convenient and will not damage the surface of the strawberries.

It turns out that it is not easy to grow delicious strawberries one by one. After seeing so much, do you have a deeper understanding of strawberries? when you pick strawberries in the future, you can also understand how they are planted.
