Lemon planting technology
Lemon is a kind of fruit grown in the south. Lemon likes to be warm and cool. It needs sufficient water in the process of growth and does not require much soil fertility. Planting lemon needs to master certain technology in order to help lemon better adapt to the environment and obtain higher yield.
Lemon planting technology
1. Pingba garden: to build a lemon garden with paddy fields, water should be released from high ditches along the slope to dry the fields. After the soil is whitened in the coming year, according to the fixed point of planting, the steamed bread-shaped mound is 40cm high and 50cm high, and the diameter of the bottom of the pier is about 1 meter.
2, slope construction garden: slope construction garden can be adopted to build contour terraces, contour trenches or fish-scale pits to solve soil fertility and soil and water conservation, contour terraces are suitable for slopes with a slope of 100-25 degrees, contour trenches are suitable for slopes with a slope of 6-100, and fish-scale pits are suitable for steep slopes and complex terrain where it is difficult to build horizontal terraces or contour trenches.
3. Lemon planting: the planting density should be 3 × 4 meters and 55 plants per mu. The planting period is generally in spring and autumn, and transplanting in autumn should be carried out from September to October. Before planting, dig a fixed planting hole (ditch) with a specification of 60 × 60 × 60 cm, and apply organic fertilizer 30kg / kg, calcium superphosphate 0.5kg / kg, or mature human and animal dung water more than 20kg. Mix the fertilizer with the soil and cover the soil to make a planting pier with a high unearthed plane of 20cm. When planting, remove the grafting film, trim the injured roots, cut off the long main roots and tender late autumn, and so on. Make a small nest on the planting pier, put in the seedlings, cover the soil while trimming the roots, gently lift the seedling roots, and gently press the soil, so that the roots are closely connected with the soil. The planting depth should be consistent with the mud marks in the nursery stage, the root neck should be exposed to the ground, irrigated with fixed root water, and covered with straw, straw, green manure or plastic film to keep warm and wet.
4. Post-planting management: it takes about half a month for seedlings to survive. This half month should be watered frequently rather than topdressing. After survival, it should be checked frequently to ensure that the soil is moist but not soiled, so as to promote the growth of roots and shoots. Only after a small number of new shoots grow, can you apply clear dung water.
Lemon planting environment
Lemon likes to be warm, shade-tolerant, not cold-resistant and afraid of heat, so it is suitable to be cultivated in subtropical areas with warm winter and cool summer, where the average annual temperature is 17-19 ℃, greater than or equal to 10 ℃, the annual effective accumulated temperature is 5200-6500 ℃, the average temperature in January is 6-8 ℃, extremely low temperature is greater than-3 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1200-1500 mm, and the annual sunshine hours are more than 1200 hours. In the areas where the annual average temperature is less than 17 ℃, the areas with short-term-5 ℃ low temperature and periodic freezing injury are not suitable for open field economic cultivation. The requirements for soil and topography are not strict, and flat land and hilly sloping land are suitable for cultivation, but the slightly acidic soil with deep soil layer, loose soil, rich organic matter, strong moisture and fertility, good drainage, low groundwater level and pH 5.5-6.5 is the best.
Methods of watering and fertilizing
Lemon needs more water in its growth and development, but it is not easy to rot its roots if it has too much water. Generally speaking, spring is the time for shoots to spread leaves, pregnant buds to blossom, and appropriate watering. The summer light is strong, the temperature is high, needs more water. However, it should be timely and appropriate, otherwise it will cause fruit drop. Autumn is the period of shoot growth and rapid fruit expansion, so there must be sufficient water. Late autumn and winter are the period of flower bud differentiation, while the basin soil is dry. Lemon prefer fertilizer, in addition to the basin, change the basin to apply sufficient base fertilizer, the growth period should adhere to the principle of thin fertilizer and frequent application. The times and amount of fertilization should be determined according to the growth and phenological period. For example, it is better to apply liquid fertilizer to fully fermented cake fertilizer and water, and the ratio of cake to water is 1VR 200. The soil in the north is slightly alkaline, so ferrous sulfate can be added to the fertilizer solution to form a slightly acidic nutrient solution.
Where is the origin of lemon?
Lemon originated in India, said that in southwest China and northern Myanmar, the cultivation time is relatively late in China, and the cultivation quantity is small, distributed in the provinces (autonomous regions) south of the Yangtze River. Taiwan is the main lemon producing area in China, and then Sichuan is the most cultivated. Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province is the hometown of lemons in China and the only lemon commodity production base in the country. Other producing areas are mainly in Fujian, Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places. Due to the high economic benefits of cultivating lemon, it has been introduced to some provinces and cities south of the Yellow River.
With the continuous excavation of the use of lemons, the demand for lemons shows a sustained and steady growth, and the economic benefits of planting lemons are also constantly improving. in addition to some areas where lemons were originally planted, more and more places began to grow lemons. even in the north, which is not suitable for lemon growth, lemons are being cultivated in the north.
