The National Feed Review Committee is a technical evaluation organization established by the Ministry of Agriculture in accordance with the regulations on the Administration of Feed and Feed Additives, which is responsible for the technical check and approval of feed and feed additives. It is a very key institutional arrangement in the feed safety guarantee system of our country. Since its establishment in November 2007, the second National Feed Review Committee has made great efforts to improve institutional norms, strengthen capacity building, carry out product technical evaluation scientifically, fairly and fairly, and actively participate in the construction of laws and regulations in the feed industry. a large number of fruitful work has been carried out, giving full play to the supporting role of technical gatekeeper, consultation, advice and so on.

The third National Feed Review Committee is composed of 116 experts, including eight professional groups: breeding, animal nutrition and metabolism, feed processing, biotechnology, chemical and chemical industry, quality standards and testing technology, environmental protection, toxicology, pharmacology, health and food safety risk assessment, policies and regulations. Compared with the previous session, the number of committee members has doubled, focusing on increasing the number of experts in food safety risk assessment, environmental protection, biotechnology and other fields.
