Leek is a kind of vegetable that is popular with you recently. Because of its special growth, it produces a different color difference from leek. The price of leek on the market is more expensive than that of leek, and many people want to grow it. But if you want to plant well, you need to master some skills.

How to grow leek

1. Live broadcast. Before sowing, according to the row spacing of 2kg per 667m2, a sowing ditch with a depth of 17-20cm and a bottom width of about 17cm was opened on the border surface according to the row spacing of 73cm. Dig the bottom of the ditch, crush and flatten the soil and spread a thin layer of fine sand to fill the soil gap, then sow. In order to sow the seeds evenly, the depth of the seeds in the soil is the same, and the seedlings come out neatly, it is also necessary to make a special sowing pressure board (the plank is 1m long and 8-10cm wide, one end is raised and tied with a rope), the plank is placed in the sowing ditch, one person drags slowly in front, and the other person gently presses the plank behind to make a straight impression appear in the ditch, and after dragging and pressing, the seeds are sown evenly in the impression. After sowing, cover a thin layer of fine sand, the thickness is not more than 0.5cm, then apply fully mature human feces and urine, the concentration is 1 part of human feces and urine to 2-3 parts of clean water, about 1000kg per 667m2.

2. Ramet transplanting. The seedlings isolated from the old mackerel should be prepared, about 4000-5000 plants per 667m2, and the row ditch of 20-25cm in east-west direction and depth of 30-35cm should be opened. The rotten farm manure 2000-3000kg or organic compound fertilizer 1000-1500kg and superphosphate 50kg were applied per 667m2. After fully mixing the fertilizer and the soil, the separated seedlings were put into the ditch to cultivate the soil, and the plant distance was about 20cm.

Planting techniques of Chinese chive

1. Timely bed arrangement: the planting of leek begins around June 25 every year, focusing on moderate soil humidity. Dry land, dry land, ditching, watering and planting. Wet border preparation, the soil is easy to consolidate, poor ventilation, it is difficult to grow new roots.

2. Applying sufficient base fertilizer: ten thousand jin of farm manure per mu, 20 kg of biological fertilizer, 20 kg of urea or diammonium, 150 kg of superphosphate and 35 kg of potassium sulfate, the fertilizer and soil are fully mixed, the border soil is loose and suitable, and the border surface is smooth.

3. Transplanting in time: when the leek seedlings grow to 4 to 5 leaves and about 20 cm high, they can be transplanted according to reasonable density, proper planting depth, proper watering and appropriate medication.

4. Reasonable close planting: the planting bed width of Chinese chive is 2.2 meters, when the row spacing is 30 cm and the plant spacing is 5 cm, the leek has both high yield and high quality, and it can still produce high and stable yield without inverting the border for 4-6 years.

5. Proper depth: special attention should be paid to the depth of transplanting leek seedlings. The seedlings are too deep, the tillers are late and few, and the later growth is not prosperous, and the seedlings are too shallow and easy to be scattered. Depending on the size of the leek seedlings, determine the depth of the planting ditch.

Fertilizer and water management of leek

Leek seedlings must be watered according to weather conditions after sowing, and once every morning and evening when the sky is dry, to keep moist, so that the seeds germinate quickly and emerge early. Generally, dry seeds can sprout and unearthed 6-10 days after sowing, when the whole grass cover should be removed in time and 10% of mature rare human and animal dung should be applied once. When the leek seedlings grow to 6-10 cm high, apply a concentration of 20% of human and animal dung water. After 20 days, the fertilization concentration decreased gradually with the increase of temperature, but the times and total amount of fertilization should be increased. 10% of human and animal dung water was applied once on the 7th day. When the seedling height is 30-40 cm, increase the fertilization concentration, generally 30% of human and animal manure water can also add 0.2-0.3 kg urea for every 50 kg, to promote the rapid growth of leek seedlings, sturdy pseudostems and broad and thick leaves. In case of drought, ditch irrigation should be used to drain water, and 50% of human and animal dung water should be applied after shrinkage.

Pest control of leek

1. Leek maggots: ground spraying is used to control leek maggots, that is, 2.5% trichlorfon powder is applied along the ridge, 22.6kg per mu, or 1000 times of phoxim EC at 9: 00 to 11:00 in the morning.

2. Leaf miner: from the peak spawning period to the early stage of larval hatching, spraying 75% cypermethrin 5000-7000 times, or 2.5% deltamethrin, 20% fenvalerate or other pyrethroid pesticides 1500-2000 times.

3. Thrips: in the peak period of larval occurrence, thrips were sprayed with 1000 times of phoxim, 4000 times of imidacloprid, 3000 times of pyrimidine, or 15002500 times of pyrethroids such as 2.5% deltamethrin.

The planting method of leek is still very simple, the key is to choose the site in advance, do well the fertile land before, and then choose the appropriate time to sow. The management in the later stage should also be strengthened, fertilizer and water in the field and timely pest control are very important, as long as these are done well, the late growth of leek will be good.
