Four kinds of edible mushrooms such as Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Dictyophora and Chestnut mushrooms are planted in the woodland, with an average price of 5 yuan per jin on the market, and the picking price can reach 10 yuan per jin on the spot.
According to the person in charge, edible fungi themselves like dark places, planting under the forest can save a lot of facilities, and the production cost is relatively reduced. In this 100 mu of woodland, there is no need to build any complex facilities, nor need to invest too much money, the staff only need to water every day to maintain the moisture of the soil, edible fungi can grow well in the field through sticks.
Through experiments over the past few years, cooperatives have more advantages in growing edible fungi under the forest than in the greenhouse. Now this cooperative has become a promotion station for successful planting experience, attracting many agricultural enthusiasts to visit and study here. Next, the cooperative plans to build some infrastructure under the forest to attract more people to visit and pick here.
