More than 15000 mu of wheat and rape have been planted in Fenghua, Zhejiang.
On the afternoon of December 22, the author saw in the contracted field of Jiang Fude, a major grain grower in Shiqiao Natural Village, Xiwu Street, Fenghua, Zhejiang Province, that more than 10 farmers were stepping up efforts to fertilize and sow wheat. As of the 22nd, Laojiang has sowed more than 900mu of wheat and plans to sow 1000 mu. It is expected that the sowing task will be completed in two days. According to the statistics of Fenghua Agricultural Machinery Management Station, Fenghua City has sown more than 11000 mu of wheat and 4000 mu of rape.
Since the late rice harvest this year, it has been cloudy and rainy in a row, which has seriously affected wheat sowing. In order to sow wheat as early as possible and seize the high yield of spring grain, some time ago, the Fenghua Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Forestry organized more than 60 middle and senior agrotechnical personnel from Fenghua Agricultural Technology Service Station, Agricultural Machinery Management Station, and seed Management Station to go deep into the front line of the field to open a technical "small stove" for grain farmers and guide them face-to-face to do a good job in wheat sowing and rape transplanting techniques. With the help of agrotechnical experts, Gubao Grain Professional Cooperative grabs and sows more than 800 mu of wheat. At present, the cooperative organizes more than 10 labourers every day to trench and drain the sown wheat to prevent rotten seedlings. At the same time, 25 kg compound fertilizer is applied per mu to promote the growth of wheat and ensure safe winter. Tu Caijun, a large grain grower in Zhuangxia Village, Qiucun Town, has never planted wheat in the past. At the beginning of wheat sowing this year, technicians from the Fenghua Agricultural Machinery Management Station went to Tantou for technical guidance many times, controlled the amount of seeds used, opened deep ditches to the poorer fields, and fertilized them well for the winter. At present, 200 mu of wheat sowing has been completed with high standard and high quality. Under the guidance of technicians from the city's seed management station, Mao Shanquan in Hetou Village, Jinping Street, sowed more than 200 mu of wheat for the first time this year.
It is understood that Fenghua City has finished harvesting 90,000 mu of late rice this year, and plans to sow about 15000 mu of wheat, and the sowing task is expected to be completed this week.
