Daffodil is a very common flower, such as garlic, but its flowers are very small and fresh and bright, and with bursts of fragrance, deeply loved by flower friends. Generally speaking, when you plant daffodils, you mainly expect it to blossom, so do you know how long it takes for daffodils to blossom? Will the daffodils bloom again after blooming?

When will the daffodils bloom (a few months)

1. Flowering time

Daffodils, also known as Lingbo fairy, are different from many flowers in that they grow in autumn, blossom in winter and dormancy in summer. Under normal circumstances, it blossoms before and after the Spring Festival. If it is early, it will bloom in January. If it is properly maintained, the florescence can be maintained until March.

2. How long will it take to blossom

Daffodils are raised in water, which needs to be changed once a day, and then every 2 or 3 days. After the bud is formed, the water can be changed once a week. The normal growth temperature of daffodils is 10: 15 ℃, the normal water culture is 45-50 days, and the flowering period is more than a month. If you encounter bad weather before and after flowering, the temperature rises and falls, and the light is insufficient, you need human intervention to control the room temperature and use fluorescent lamps to make up the light to promote flowering.

How to deal with daffodils after blooming

1. Buried bulb

Daffodils are perennials. In fact, they are bulbs. If they are buried in the soil, they can continue to grow. The garden we chose should be leeward and facing the sun, and the soil should be deeper. The next thing to do is to build higher ridges and place them in the soil, with the leaves on their own. After January, the leaves will be dry and dormant, so take the bulb out of the soil, cut its finely crushed roots, cut off the yellow leaves along the bottom, and then bury the bulb at a depth of 10 centimeters. and use rotten fertilizer or manure, and then flatten it.

2. Dig the bulb

After burying it, the subsequent work is to maintain and manage it. In peacetime, as long as we pay attention to provide rich nutrition, while maintaining the moisture of the soil, of course, we can not accumulate water, the bulb can grow well. In November and December, when we dig it out, we will find that the previous bulb has rotted away and become empty, but there will still be some bulbs around. After digging out the bulbs with relatively large buds, we clean the dirt, in addition to the surface soil, place it in the sun for a few hours, and then draw a "ten" notch on it to keep its scales from being hurt. in this way, the buds and leaves can grow. Then we soak it in water for a day, wash the mucus from the cut, and then we can get it well. After 3 days, its bottom can grow white fiber root, also can sprout gradually. And that is not a big bulb we are in no hurry to deal with, let it stay in the soil for a year, and then in the next year, when it grows stronger, and then dig it out for breeding.

The method of promoting the flowering of daffodils

If the daffodils are maintained normally, the methods that can be taken to promote the daffodils include increasing the temperature of the light, putting the daffodils in the outdoor sun during the day, or placing them in a place with plenty of light indoors until they bloom.

Can also be used to heat up the way, in the daffodil pot cover on a plastic transparent cover, illuminated by light, can increase the temperature in the flowerpot. In addition, heating devices, such as hair dryers or electric heaters, can also be used to blow daffodils' plants so that they can blossom and bloom for several days. But be careful not to let the hair dryer hurt the daffodils.

You can also use warm water to increase the temperature. Add a small amount of warm water to the daffodil's flowerpot to raise the water temperature and promote flowering.
