Recently, about 50 passers-by at the entrance of Hongao Village in Guangming New District of Shenzhen City scrambled for vegetables in the village for half an hour, before being dispersed by police and cordoned off at the scene.

Five days ago, the residual mud receiving yard in the village collapsed, and 75 people are now missing. This more than 400 mu of vegetable land is the only vegetable growing land in the village, and it was used as a soil receiving ground dug up at the site of the incident, and hundreds of vegetable farmers were temporarily notified to evacuate.

The move caused dissatisfaction among vegetable farmers, who said they supported disaster relief, but suffered heavy losses due to low compensation, short notice time and heavy losses.

The vegetable farmer was temporarily notified to receive the food.

In the early morning of the 22nd, Cai Jinren had fallen asleep when two responsible persons of Shenzhen Nanfeng Investment and Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nanfeng Company") knocked on the door and asked him to move out within two hours.

Cai Jinren said that there is still a lot of furniture, chemical fertilizers, farm tools and more than 5 mu of strawberries left unpicked.

The person in charge said that if you take away the main things, there will be compensation.

Cai Jinren hastily packed up and removed quilts, clothes, televisions, and so on. Strawberries are being picked. 5 mu of strawberries can earn 200000 yuan. At present, they have only sold 2000 yuan, and then they are buried in the remaining mud.

The vegetable plot is divided into three areas. Caijin Renjia is located in District 1, which is closest to the site of the landslide. Vegetable farmers in the other two districts were also temporarily notified to evacuate.

A vegetable farmer cried and asked passers-by not to pick his vegetables, but failed to stop it.

The person in charge said he could petition if he was dissatisfied.

According to the agreement provided by vegetable farmers, they agreed with Nanfeng Company on July 1 this year that they are only allowed to grow vegetables when they rent vegetable land, with a management fee of 2400 yuan per mu, which they have paid until June next year.

The agreement stipulates that the land will be used for temporary farming, and if the government needs to use the land, Nanfeng will notify the vegetable farmers three months in advance.

However, Nanfeng only promised compensation of 5000 yuan per mu, and the management fee for six months was non-refundable, and vegetable farmers questioned that the compensation was too low.

These vegetable farmers from all over the country have built temporary buildings next to their vegetable plantations, where the family lives. They have no land to go and sleep on the side of the road these days.

"the vegetable farmers and we are both innocent. There is nothing we can do about it." General Manager Wang said that they also know that this is a waste of vegetables and want to help farmers collect vegetables, but they do not have enough manpower and do not have so much money to compensate them.

"if you are dissatisfied, you can go to the street office to petition." General Manager Wang said.
