Persian chrysanthemum is a variety of chrysanthemum, which is introduced and cultivated from abroad in our country. At present, it can be seen in many places in our country. Persian chrysanthemum is very popular because of its high ornamental value, and many people want to plant it. However, before planting, people must be most concerned about its planting technology.

How to plant Persian chrysanthemum seeds

1. Sowing season. When summer flowering is needed, the seeds should be sown from February to March in early spring, preferably under the condition that the temperature and humidity can be controlled. If you plan to sow seeds in the open air, you should sow in the middle of April when the temperature is suitable. When the temperature is suitable, seedlings can emerge in about a week. The need for autumn flowering, that is, to celebrate the National Day, can be sown from July to August. The Persian chrysanthemum sown this season is short, sturdy, neat and beautiful.

2. Sowing soil. In order to select the sowing medium, the soil with loose and rich organic matter should be selected, and a certain amount of mature organic fertilizer should be applied before sowing. When sowing, mix the seeds with a certain amount of sand and spread them evenly on the seedling bed, then cover the soil for about one centimeter. After sowing, the soil moisture should be maintained and the temperature should be controlled at about 18 ℃.

3. Sowing seedlings. When curing seedlings grow 4 to 5 true leaves, they can be transplanted into a nutrition bowl and removed from the heart. There is no need to apply topdressing during the seedling growth period, so as not to cause excessive growth of branches and leaves and affect flowering.

Seed planting method of Persian chrysanthemum

1. Transplant: when the seedling has 4-5 true leaves, it can be removed from the heart, or after direct seeding. If the planting land is fertilized with base fertilizer, there is no need to apply fertilizer during the growing period. if the soil is too fertilised, the branches and leaves will grow easily and the flowering will decrease. During the period of high temperature from July to August, those who blossom are not easy to bear seeds.

2. Lighting: Persian chrysanthemum is strong in nature, likes sunshine, is resistant to drought, and is not strict with soil, but can not accumulate water. If it is planted in fertile soil, it is easy to cause branches and leaves to grow and affect the quality of flowering.

3. Fertilization: transplant seedlings with a height of 5 cm, colonize them with 7 leaves and 8 leaves, or plant seedlings after direct seeding. If the planting land is fertilized with base fertilizer, there is no need to apply fertilizer during the growing period. if the soil is too fertilised, the branches and leaves will grow easily and the flowering will decrease. Or during the growth period, 5 times water of mature urine is applied every 10 days, and water is irrigated 2-3 times during drought, that is, it can grow and bloom well. During the period of high temperature from July to August, those who blossom are not easy to bear seeds. The seeds are easy to fall off after maturity and should be collected in the early morning.

4. Watering. Persian chrysanthemum is resistant to drought and can be watered once after planting. Later, it can be watered according to the dry and wet soil. If it is not dry, it does not need watering.

Precautions of Persian chrysanthemum

The requirement of fertilizer and water is not strict, and 5 times the mature urine is applied every 10 days during the growth period. High and medium-sized varieties need to set up pillars before flowering to prevent wind damage and lodging. They grow rapidly and can be plucked many times to increase branches. Red spider damage is easy to occur when it is hot, so it is advisable to prevent it as soon as possible.

Pest control of Persian chrysanthemum

1. Red spiders: Persian chrysanthemums are prone to red spiders when they are hot and dry. Whether you like it or not, Persian chrysanthemums have a high probability of giving birth to red spiders. Even if only two plants are planted, there may be red spiders, which should be detected and prevented as early as possible. 1000 to 1500 times of triclofenac EC was sprayed at the initial stage.

2. Powdery mildew: the density should not be too high when planting, and good ventilation and light transmittance should be maintained. Diseased leaves and plants should be cut off and destroyed in time after the disease, so as to strictly prevent re-infection. At the initial stage of the disease, 15% Fenru Ning wettable powder was sprayed 1500 times, or 10% Le WP 1200 to 1500 times. The two drugs were used alternately for 2 to 3 times.

The planting of Persian chrysanthemum is best sown in the early spring of each year, and the suitable soil should be chosen when planting. Persian chrysanthemum is not resistant to stagnant water, so it is necessary to do a good job of drainage. Pest control must be strengthened in the later stage of planting. Only in this way can Persian chrysanthemum grow well.
