Seed Law Enforcement Supervision meeting held in Dianjiang County, Chongqing

On the afternoon of December 20, Dianjiang County Crop Seed Management Station held the county seed law enforcement supervision meeting, Liu Baofan, Deputy Director of Agricultural Committee of Dianjiang County, leaders and employees of crop seed station, and 21 seed wholesalers of the whole county attended the meeting.

Deputy Director Yang Ang organized the study of the newly revised Seed Law. Director Zhang Bizheng interpreted some important parts of the newly revised Seed Law to the participants and had a serious discussion with the participants around the newly revised Seed Law. The seed work in 2015 was summarized and the seed law enforcement supervision work in 2016 was arranged. The seed industry situation and the seed supply and demand situation of "two miscellaneous" in our county were analyzed, and the seed industry development plan under the new situation was discussed together. Finally, Director Liu Baofan emphasized the problems to be paid attention to in this year's seed supervision work, and put forward five requirements for seed enterprises: one is to put an end to the listing of unexamined varieties and deal with seed disputes; the second is to abide by rules and regulations and operate according to law; the third is to establish standardized business files; the fourth is to pay special attention to the withdrawal varieties; and the fifth is to pay attention to the standardization of packaging label.
