How does Anemone grow

1. Selection of basin soil. Breeding anemone, you can choose mixed pot soil, garden soil, decaying soil and plant ash according to a certain proportion of mixed, and add some base fertilizer, good drainage requirements.

2. Light and temperature. Anemone cultivation needs to meet the two conditions of cool and sufficient light. Anemone can be cold-resistant, but avoid high temperature, suitable temperature for growth between 15℃--35℃, winter temperature needs not less than 10℃, can safely winter, can be put into indoor sunny places, conditional can be placed in greenhouse maintenance.

3. Reproductive methods. Anemone reproduction is mainly sowing and ball distribution, sowing is autumn sowing, seeds with the harvest with the sowing. Bulb division propagation is mainly about the division of Anemone seed bulbs.

Anemone planting method

1. Soak the bulbs for 6 hours, and then soak them with 500 to 800 times carbendazim for 20 to 30 minutes. Some people think that the temperature is lower than 20℃ when the root tuber is soaked in water for 1-2 days, so that it absorbs water and expands.

2. The seedling tray should be placed in a cool and well ventilated environment.

3. When planting, the tip of the root tuber should be downward and not upside down. Anemone bulbs are rooted from the tip and should be planted flat side up. It can also be placed horizontally when it is difficult to judge. The bulbs will slowly absorb water and take root. When you see the roots, you will naturally know that it is raining.

4. When planting, the size of the hole should coincide with the size of the seed ball. When planting, the soil thickness covering the surface of the seed ball should not exceed 1 cm. After the first irrigation, the buds should be visible. Or buried in the soil to pay attention to half buried, the top bud exposed outside the soil. Irrigation must be carried out within half an hour after planting.

Notes on Anemone Cultivation

Anemone, need to keep the soil moist, but water should be careful not to make the pot soil too wet, lest the roots rot. The trumpet of winter moisture is less, so watering can be reduced. In rainy seasons, anemones need to be placed in dry places for maintenance. Pay attention to shelter from rain and stop watering. Fertilization is generally applied once every half month thin fertilizer, in flowering period, in order to promote flower bud formation, can be applied once a week.

Pest Control of Anemone

1. The main pests in Anemone cultivation are aphids, thrips and cutworms. Anemone pests can be controlled by using commonly used pesticides. Before planting, the soil can be strictly disinfected, which can reduce the occurrence and spread of pests to a certain extent.

2. Rhizoctonia solani. It's caused by Rhizoctonia. Its symptoms are brown leaves, more obvious depression disease plants will produce brown orange-like mycelium groups. Chipco 26019 can be used to kill the disease.

3. Grey mold. It is a disease that affects both young plants and flowering. The infection of Botrytis cinerea was promoted mainly by higher air humidity and water film on plant surface. Chlorothalonil carbendazim spray can be used to control gray mold.

4. Powdery mildew. The cause of powdery mildew is powdery mildew infection. The main symptoms of the disease are spiral curly leaves, leaves, stems and buds have round white spots, serious cases will lead to bud stop growing. The disease can be prevented and treated by spraying triadimefon 800 times solution. If the condition is serious, it should be sprayed again every 7-8 days, and three consecutive sprays can basically be controlled.

Anemone in the planting time must do a good job of pot soil selection, and then control the light and temperature, winter temperature is too low is not conducive to its growth. After planting, we need to strengthen the management of fertilizer, water and diseases and insect pests in order to make it grow well.
