He once worked for a listed company in Shenzhen, engaged in securities and investment and financing, with a monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan, but the enviable white-collar worker chose to go back to his hometown to farm land after the company went public. He is Li Qingjun, a "post-80s" who has been promoting the apple industry in Yantai. He resigned in 2012 and came to Qixia to start the Apple Dream. After years of groping and hard work, he launched the orchard hosting service. He wants to make a link for the Apple industry to complete the integration of the resources of the entire Apple industry chain.

Do not work as a white-collar worker and go home for farming.

Recently, when the reporter saw Li Qingjun in a suit, it was hard to think of him crawling and rolling in the orchard all day, covered with dirt. He was dressed like this only because he was going to Beijing to attend a meeting of China's good Apple Origin Alliance. He said that if he wanted to do a good job in the apple industry, he had to communicate more with others.

After graduating from Northwestern Polytechnic University in 2007, Li Qingjun chose to go to Shenzhen to work hard and join a science and technology enterprise in Shenzhen. From a human resources position to a securities affairs representative, in five years, he worked from the grass-roots level to middle-level leaders, with a monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan. Because he participated in the whole process of operating the company's listing, he also became one of the core management of the company. Just when everyone thought his future was bright, in July 2012, he decisively resigned and went home to work as a farmer.

"many people say I am stupid, and some elders even think that my books have been read in vain." Li Qingjun said that there was a lot of pressure at that time, but what he saw was the longer-term development prospect of the Yantai apple industry. "Yantai Apple is of good quality and is deeply liked by everyone, but it lacks brand awareness and does not form standardization and commercialization."

During one year's holiday, Li Qingjun went back to Qixia and saw that the apple was big and red, so he took some photos and posted them on Wechat's moments. Unexpectedly, when his friends saw it, they asked him to help buy them. After receiving the apple, my friends praised the authentic taste, which also led other friends to scramble to buy. In this way, Li Qingjun thought, since so many people want to eat authentic Qixia apples, why not specially open up a sales channel of reliable quality?

Wechat sells apples and attracts 20, 000 fans a day.

After resigning, Li Qingjun came to Yantai and plunged into the orchard and began to live in the mountains ever since. From pruning, pulling branches, carding flowers, carding fruits to fertilization, watering, pest and bird prevention, from bagging, bag picking, film laying to picking, storage, packaging, logistics. For two years, I was either in the mountains or on the way to the mountains.

After returning to Yantai, Li Qingjun began to learn about the apple market through various channels and went to various apple trading markets to see how fruit farmers bargained with vendors and what price different grades of apples were at. He searched the Internet to see how online stores operate and sell. After groping and learning, he located Wechat platform and started his business in November 2012.

Li Qingjun named himself "Apple Prince". At the end of 2012, he had more than 2000 followers on his personal Wechat account, which had been operating for nearly two months. "most of these fans are friends in QQ and Wechat, and many of them are friends and acquaintances, so they have a higher degree of trust than customers on platforms like Taobao." Li Qingjun said that in good times, the monthly sales of personal Wechat accounts reached more than 100000 yuan.

In the "12 apples" planned by Li Qingjun on December 12, apples from 12 producing areas in China were sold in Yantai in unified packaging. 5200 cases of Apple were sold on Wechat and Weibo within 24 hours, attracting the attention of more than 20, 000 fans. it has become a model of fresh and innovative sales on the mobile Internet.

Registered companies set up cooperatives

In the course of groping, Li Qingjun found that his energy was limited and he was too busy at all. In April last year, Li Qingjun formally set up his own team and established Yantai Aiguole Ecological Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.

"now there are many fewer varieties to eat, but most of them are concentrated in Red Fuji, and varieties like Guoguang are rare on the market." Li Qingjun said that under the influence of chemical fertilizers and pesticides for many years, the taste of today's apple orchards can hardly go back to 20 years ago, and there is a great need for a group of new farmers who insist on ecological cultivation to convey the true flavor of their place of origin through them.

"Apple is sold separately in Singapore, and their apples have been commercialized and standardized." Li Qingjun said that at present, there is no standard for selling apples, and there are no general specifications for size, sweetness, gloss, and so on. "in the way of sales, mainly wholesale markets, supermarkets, fruit chain stores, Internet fresh e-commerce is also in its infancy, but also a headache can not find standardized suppliers, there are no 'standard parts' like Xiaomi mobile phones." Li Qingjun said that the serious aging of fruit farmers is obvious, and it is difficult to make a big change in the way orchards are managed and standardized.

After investigation and research, Li Qingjun launched the orchard trusteeship model. "to put it simply, the fruit growers give us the orchard and only need to pay us some management fees. We carry out unified watering, fertilization, pruning, picking, whole-process management, and establishing a brand. Finally, we sell the apples directly to the customers through our sales channels, eliminate the intermediate links, and transfer the profits to the fruit growers." Li Qingjun said that in this way, with the apple industry as the core, focus on providing orchard field management services, so far, in Qixia cooperative, there are 268 fruit farmers, 1980 mu of apples and 360mu of cherries.
