Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Paulownia is a kind of highly ornamental plant, it mainly takes flowers as ornamental points, and its flowers are generally common in red, pink, purple, white and so on. At present, there are many people who breed paulownia flowers, but they still need hands before breeding.

Pittosporum is a kind of ornamental plant, which mainly takes flowers as ornamental points. Its flowers are generally common in red, pink, purple, white, etc., and its flowering period is in the summer of each year. There are many people who cultivate globeflower now, but before breeding, they still need to master some skills to avoid some problems due to improper technology.

How do you grow large rock flowers?

1. Temperature. The growth temperature of pittosporum grandiflorum has different requirements in different seasons, 18-25℃ from January to October, and 10-12℃ from October to January of the following year. Suitable temperature can make leaves grow luxuriantly and flowers are bright.

2. Light. Pittosporum gloeosporium prefers semi-shady and warm environment. In breeding, attention should be paid to proper shade, avoid direct sunlight, and it is best to absorb scattered light, and constantly adjust according to actual growth conditions.

3. Soil. Pittosporum prefers loose, fertile humus soil. Therefore, it is necessary to use humus-rich, loose slightly acidic soil cultivation.

Methods and precautions for cultivation of globeflower

1. Breeding methods:

1. Basin soil. A lush potted plant cannot live without soil suitable for it. This plant likes loose, permeable soil. If we want to mix it ourselves, we can mix some soil with coarse sand particles, and then mix a small amount of decomposed poultry manure in the soil.

2. Fertilization. From the exhibition leaves to flowering, should apply fertilizer once a week, preferably using decomposed thin organic liquid fertilizer, every 10 days or so apply thin cake fertilizer water once. After flower bud formation, phosphorus fertilizer should be added, and bone meal or calcium phosphate should be added once.

3. Watering. Water should be appropriate, too much easy to cause tuber rot, leaves withered, high temperature in summer, to increase the number of watering, often spray water mist around the plant, maintain environmental humidity.

II. Precautions:

1. Avoid water on leaves. The flowers and leaves of pittosporum gloeosporium grow fluff, once stained with water, it is easy to rot, so remember not to spray water on flowers and leaves, it is best to use immersion method watering.

2. Control flowering temperature. Flowering pay attention to avoid rain, temperature should not be too high, can extend flowering.

3, fertilization do not contaminate the leaves. Do not contaminate the leaves when fertilizing. Spray clean water once after each fertilization to keep the leaves clean. But wipe the leaves immediately after cleaning to prevent decay.

How to trim large cave flowers

1. Cut when flowering. After flowering, if the leaves around the flower hinder the normal growth of the flower, some of the leaves can be cut off completely or half of the leaves can be cut off according to the actual situation and needs. Such pruning leaves can make flowers all open at the top of the plant, forming a group of bouquets, the viewing effect will be better. After pruning, it can produce up to 18 flowers at a time. Among them, a plant cultivated in a 12 cm flowerpot is not more than 15 cm high and has only 2 branches, that is, 16 flowers come out at the same time. The flowers are beautiful.

2. Trim after flowering. After flowering, if the soil is fertile and properly managed, it will produce a second set of buds. After flowering, if there is no need to keep seeds, it is best to cut off the flower stems to control the loss of nutrients, which is conducive to continued flowering and tuber growth and development.

Common diseases and their control

1. Dry nematode disease. Control methods: before cultivation, the pot soil should be disinfected with steam or chloropicrin, and the tubers of pittosporum should be soaked in warm water at 60℃ for 5 minutes, or disinfected with usplon. If it is found that the disease has been infected with pittosporum, it is necessary to uproot the damaged plants and burn them.

2. Rotten disease. Control method: before cultivation of pittosporum, spray 3 parts of formaldehyde with 1 part of water, and cover with film, or mix 7 parts of 70% dexone powder with 3 parts of fine soil, and sprinkle on the surface for disinfection. Daily maintenance should pay attention to timely removal of diseased plants, and timely burning.

The method of cultivation of pittosporum is actually not difficult, you can start from its growth habits, in the cultivation of time must pay attention to temperature control, timely lighting is also inevitable. In the later stage of cultivation, it is also necessary to strengthen the management of fertilizer and pruning, so as to ensure the growth of globeflower.
