Narcissus is a variety of Narcissus, its origin is abroad, and it has been introduced and cultivated by China in recent years. It is a kind of plant with great ornamental value. Now there are many people who want to cultivate daffodils, but in the process of breeding, many people will have a lot of problems because of improper technology, so how can it be cultivated to ensure its growth?

How to raise foreign daffodils

1. The growth habit of Narcissus is actually very interesting. It likes a wet environment in winter and a dry and hot environment in summer. Therefore, when raising foreign daffodils, it is necessary to maintain sufficient water during its main growing period.

2. Narcissus do not have a high demand for light, except for sufficient light when the leaves grow, and keep semi-shade when the daffodils bloom.

3. Narcissus likes loose, fertile and well-drained soil, and the soil is preferably a slightly alkaline soil rich in humus.

Culture methods and matters needing attention of foreign daffodils

1. Culture methods:

The main results are as follows: 1. Narcissus is a temperate bulb flower, likes cool climate, avoid high temperature and humidity, and the suitable temperature for growth is about 10-15 ℃. Narcissus is not sensitive to light, the leaf growth period needs to ensure sufficient light, and the flowering period should be semi-overcast. If the daffodils do not have enough light for a long time during the growth period, it is easy to cause the leaves to elongate, soften and sag, but this has little effect on flowering.

2. during the growth period, it can be drenched with potassium dihydrogen phosphate dilute solution every two weeks, and a small amount of nitrogen fertilizer can also be applied. The suitable temperature for growth is 15 ℃ and 20 min. Different light intensity, humidity and temperature can be used to adjust the flowering period, in order to achieve the purpose of just blooming during the Spring Festival.

2. points for attention:

After the daffodil is planted, the plant should be moved to a semi-shade of about 50% sunshine for conservation, and the soil should be kept moist. After the leaf bud protrudes from the soil, it should be moved to about 70% of 80% sunshine for management. The flowering period of Narcissus can be adjusted by adjusting different light, humidity and temperature.

What if the leaves of Narcissus become soft?

1. Sunlight control method. To ensure enough sunshine, put the daffodils outside or on the balcony in the sun, and then take the daffodils from the outside to the room at night, so that the leaves of the daffodils can grow and there will not be inverted flowers.

2. Chemical control method. Pour 2% salt water into the flowerpot to control the wild growth of daffodils, and the florescence of daffodils is longer. Quantitative infusion of chemicals into the basin can better control the crazy growth of leaves, and the height of the plant is about 15 cm.

Common diseases and insect pests of Narcissus and their control

1. Root rot. Control method: soak the root with 0.1% mercury for about half an hour, and spray 79% chlorothalonil wettable powder 700 times during the growth of narcissus.

2. Fusarium disease. Prevention and treatment: short-term storage of bulbs need to be placed in a suitable temperature, humidity and good ventilation environment. The infected bulbs need to be picked out when planting. If the temperature is above 14 ℃ when planting bulbs, a wide range of crop rotation can be carried out.

3.Botrytis cinerea. Prevention and treatment: it is best to plant the daffodil bulbs immediately or store them in a well-ventilated place. To avoid causing damage to the bulbs of narcissus, the bulbs that may be infected should be disinfected in time. When planting, it is appropriate to choose the mixture of black peat soil and sand as the substrate, and decompress the matrix, put the bulb on the top, and then cover a thin layer of coarse-grained river sand. The bulbs were cold treated after planting.

4. Insect pests of Narcissus: aphids and red spiders are the main pests of Narcissus, which can be effectively controlled by spraying 1000 times omethoate EC.

Narcissus must pay attention to its light when it is cultivated. Although it likes light, it needs shading when it is hot in summer. If there is a phenomenon of softening of leaves in the process of daffodil culture, we should first find out the cause, and then solve the problem from the root.
