Cherry's appearance color is very bright, and crystal beautiful, cherry color is as red as agate, yellow as fat, the fruit is very rich in sugar, protein, vitamins and calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and other elements. So the nutritional price of cherries is also very high. Many people also want to plant cherry trees at home. Today, I'm going to teach you how to plant cherry seedlings.

How to plant cherry saplings

1. Dig the planting pond before planting, and decide according to the size of the seedlings planted. For seedlings within 2 years of planting, dig 40 cm wide and 30 cm deep, and apply 3 jin of organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer (farm manure needs to be mature) to each plant. Or compound fertilizer (must be potassium sulfate type) content 3 15 or 17. For planting 314-year seedlings, it is necessary to dig 60-80 cm wide, 40-50 cm deep, each plant applied organic fertilizer 4-5 jin.

2. When planting, put the seedling flat in the hole to make the seedling root system stretch naturally. In the process of planting, the seedling should be slightly raised so that the root is fully connected with the soil, and then firmly, and the planting depth can be increased by 5 cm more than the original seedling depth. When applying mixed fertilizer, the fertilizer should be applied around the upper part of the root, not directly with the root, and then fill some soil before fertilization.

Cherry trees bear fruit for several years

1. Cherry trees can bear fruit for 4-7 years. Cherry is the English transliteration of cherry. Cherry is native to the tropical West Indies and the Caribbean, so it is also called West Indian Cherry. Suitable for growing in tropical and subtropical areas with abundant rainfall, sufficient sunshine and suitable temperature, it is famous for being rich in vitamin C. it is recognized as the "king of natural VC" and "fruit of life" in the world. The first fruit period of cherry is 4-7 years.

2. Although the fruit is as small as a pearl, it is red and bright in color, exquisite as an agate gem, sweet and slightly sour in taste, not only can be eaten fresh, but also can be pickled or embellished as other dishes.

What temperature is the most suitable for growing cherries?

1. In planting, we must pay attention to whether the attack time of the low temperature cold wave coincides with the flowering period every spring and cannot be planted in places where adverse weather (frost, snow, strong wind) occurs during the cherry flowering period. Even in places where disastrous weather is rare, it is necessary to choose suitable small terrain for planting when the garden is built. Compared with real cherries, hairy cherries are extremely hardy and suitable for planting in Northeast China.

2. The cold resistance of the seedlings is weak, and the warm and humid climate is suitable to be cultivated in the place with an annual average temperature of 15-16 ℃. The dormancy period of cherry seedlings is short. When the temperature warms up in late winter and early spring, it is easy to sprout new buds. If the organs of flowers are frozen in late spring (frost or snow), the yield is seriously affected or even there is no harvest.

3. The annual rainfall suitable for the growth of cherry seedlings is generally 700~1000mm. Some areas in the south should give full consideration to how to solve the problem of "spring drought" when building gardens. Because drought in the early stage of fruit growth will cause serious fruit drop and affect fruit growth and development. Cherry seedlings are light-loving trees, while Chinese cherries are more shade-tolerant but with good light, and the fruit ripens early.

What are the planting conditions of cherries?

1. Cherry is very sensitive to water condition and is neither drought-resistant nor waterlogging-resistant. In the cultivation area of Chinese cherry, except for the abundant Rain Water in the southern province, the north mainly chooses the areas with humid microclimate in hillsides and valleys. From the point of view of the cultivation distribution areas of sweet cherry all over the world, most of them are located near the river basin or near the coastal zone.

2. At present, the main cultivation areas of sweet cherry in China are mainly distributed in Yantai, Shandong Province, and Dalian, Liaoning Province, in the Bohai Bay. These two places are close to the sea, with an annual rainfall of 600mm to 900mm, and the air is relatively humid. The annual rainfall does not exceed 250 mm, and the rainfall in the growing season does not exceed 150 mm.

3. The sweet cherry producing areas in Ukraine are mainly distributed in the dry summer areas along the coast of the Black Sea, with an annual rainfall of less than 300 mm and little rainfall from July to September, but these areas have suitable temperature, sufficient light and good irrigation conditions.

In the above, I have briefly taught you some ways to grow cherries. Be sure to remember that cherries are relatively weak in cold resistance and like places where there is plenty of sunshine and warmth. So when you plant cherries, you must choose a good place.
