In recent years, ginseng fruit is more and more well known by people, ginseng fruit edible value is very high, so deeply liked by people. Now many people have begun to plant ginseng fruit, but before planting, presumably everyone wants to know the most about it, or about its planting method! Let's get to know each other!

How to grow ginseng seeds

1. Soil preparation and fertilization: before sowing, carry out land preparation, make beds, apply sufficient base fertilizer, disinfect, keep the soil moist, and sprinkle a layer of fine sand on the bed surface.

2. Seed selection: good color, symmetrical size, plump seeds, dry and mildew-free.

3, seed treatment: can be warm water soaking, drug seed dressing, etc., in order to achieve the purpose of early emergence, seedling Qi, seedlings strong. The seed after soaking, wrapped in gauze bag, provide appropriate temperature, moisture and air, germination.

4. Sowing methods: broadcast, drill and dibble. Because ginseng fruit seed is small, often adopt broadcast method. Sowing should be uniform, generally 5×7 or 7×7 (cm).

5. Management after sowing: sprinkle a layer of fine sand on the surface of the ridge to cover the seeds. If the temperature is below 12℃, cover the mulch film to maintain the soil temperature and soil humidity. If the nursery bed is dry, fine water should be sprayed to facilitate germination, and it is forbidden to sprinkle with water. After the seedlings emerge, the mulch must be removed. To avoid sun exposure, cover the sun screen. During seedling period, spray low concentration nitrogen fertilizer once every 10 days or so, strengthen field management, prevent diseases and insect pests, and ensure healthy growth of seedlings.

What does ginseng fruit look like?

Ginseng fruit trees are ordinary trees, and their morphological characteristics are shown in the following aspects:

1. Root: taproot is developed, root system is distributed around plant, diameter is 250 cm, and the longest root in the range is 300 cm.

2, stem: stem, stem diameter is generally 100 to 200 cm high, up to 360 cm, stem base maximum diameter of 10 cm, stem middle diameter is generally 8-10 cm. The stems are soft and require support when setting fruit. Each segment is 5-6 cm long and the longest is 10 cm.

3, leaves: leaves, leaf tail green or light green, alternate, leaf shape for three to five leaves, leaf length 7-9 cm, width 4-7 cm, petiole length 5 cm, leaf axils are extremely strong, can produce branches, to be timely bifurcated, so as not to affect fruit.

Fertilizer and Water Management of Ginseng Fruit Trees

In addition to applying sufficient base fertilizer, topdressing should be applied twice: once when the fruit seedlings grow to about 30 cm; the other time when the fruit seedlings are close to flowering, N, P and K fertilizers are applied every 3 kg, and the seedlings are irrigated 10 cm away from the main root. Boron fertilizer or Baofengsu No. 2 should be added properly in flowering stage. A small amount of N, P, K compound fertilizer is applied frequently, and attention is paid to intertillage and weeding. Generally, fertilizer is applied once every 10 days, and potassium fertilizer is applied more after flowering. 3-6 September, September-November is the ginseng fruit growth and development and flowering need the most water period, should be watered in time.

Common Diseases of Ginseng Fruit and Their Control

1. Cotton disease. Prevention and control methods: planting to choose fertile, well-drained areas, after planting with film to cover the ground to prevent rain splash bacteria. Frequent application of organic phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to increase disease resistance, timely pruning of redundant branches, greenhouse planting should pay attention to ventilation and light. When disease is found, the diseased fruit leaves are cleaned up in time, and the general treatment method is deep burial or direct burning.

2. Coal pollution disease. Prevention and control methods: pay attention to ventilation, ventilation, high temperature and high humidity should pay attention to cooling and humidity, watering should be appropriate.

3. Black spot disease. Prevention and control methods: due to the large temperature difference between day and night in spring and summer, it is conducive to the occurrence and spread of black spot disease, and due to the attention paid to modulating the temperature difference, prevent the occurrence and spread of this disease.

In fact, there is nothing special about ginseng fruit trees. Before planting ginseng fruit trees, we must do a good job of soil preparation and then sow them at the right time. After planting, management needs to be strengthened. Timely fertilizer and water supply, disease prevention and so on are very critical.
