The amount of fertilizer applied to walnut trees varies from 20 to 30 kilograms per young tree, 30 to 50 kilograms per tree that just bear fruit after flowering, and 50 to 80 kilograms per tree when the fruit is about to ripen, but it should be noted that fertilizer and soil need to be mixed evenly when fertilizing.

After the fruit is picked or the leaves turn yellow in autumn, they need to be pruned.
