If apple trees are to grow in a low temperature and dry environment, the fertile, deep, well-drained and loose soil will promote the growth rate of apple trees and improve the yield and quality of apples, if growing apples in areas with insufficient precipitation or uneven distribution, irrigation and drainage facilities need to be built in the plantation, and the temperature of planting apples should be controlled at about 12 ℃-25 ℃, but in winter, in order to ensure that apple trees can dormancy normally. The temperature should be below 8 ℃.

Apple has strong growth ability and adaptability. In the suitable growth environment, the growth rate of apple is very fast, and the yield is also very high. There are many varieties of apples. When planting apples, they should be selected according to the local environment, weather, soil and some other external reasons.

1. Soil requirements

Soil has a certain influence on the growth rate, yield and quality of apples. to grow apples, we should choose soils with deep soil layer, convenient drainage, loose soil, fertile soil and organic matter, and the best pH in the soil is between 5 and 8. In order to ensure the quality and taste of apples, do not choose poor, alkaline or poor permeability clayey soil to grow apples.

2. Lighting requirements

Apples like to grow in a sunny environment. Only with sufficient light can the photosynthesis of apple trees promote strong growth and produce more quantity and quality and better apples. If there is not enough sunlight in the growing environment, the apple tree will grow too long, the branches and leaves are weak, the disease resistance is poor, the root growth of the fruit tree is poor, the fruiting rate is low and the fruit sugar content is insufficient, coloring failure and so on. In order to ensure the normal growth of apple trees and improve the yield and quality of apples, we must make sure that there is plenty of sunshine when planting.

3. Precipitation

Water plays an important role in the growth of apples, generally natural precipitation, fruit trees can actually absorb about 1 jump 3. During the growth period of apple trees, as long as the precipitation is 540 mm, they can meet their growth needs. From April to September every year, if apples are planted in areas with precipitation below 450 ml, fruit trees need to be irrigated. In the north of our country, the precipitation is unevenly distributed. There is not enough precipitation in spring, and 70-80% of the precipitation is concentrated between July and August. Due to the shortage of water in the inland areas of China, irrigation, soil moisture conservation facilities and rainy season drainage facilities need to be built to ensure the normal growth of apple trees and the yield and quality of apples.

4. Temperature requirement

Apple trees like to grow in low temperature and dry environment, they have strong ability to resist cold and heat, and the suitable growth temperature is between 12 ℃ and 25 ℃. If the planting temperature is below 12 ℃ or above 30 ℃, it will affect the growth of apple trees. In order to ensure the normal dormancy of the apple tree, the temperature should be kept below 8 ℃ in winter. Only after the apple tree is dormant will the apple tree continue to sprout in spring.
