What are the seeds of pineapple?
The ovary of pineapple is rudimentary, so it is rare to see seeds. The fruit of pineapple is a kind of flower fruit, which is composed of fleshy bracts growing on the central thick and fleshy axis and spirally arranged rudimentary ovary. Pineapple propagates asexually mainly through sucking buds and crown buds.
Pineapple is a tropical fruit, the edible part of its fruit is mostly thickened, fleshy inflorescence axis, their ovary is generally undeveloped, seeds are rarely seen in the fruit, pineapple is through the absorption of buds, crown buds for asexual reproduction.
Pineapple fruit is a globule composed of fleshy bracts on the central axis and spirally arranged rudimentary ovaries. A pineapple is not a fruit, but is formed by many bisexual flowers.
I. Propagation methods of pineapple
Pineapple seedlings are generally propagated asexually by crown buds, descendant buds, sucking buds and stems, except for cross breeding. Orthopedic buds can also be used for sucking bud propagation, old stem slice breeding, tissue culture and other methods.
Pineapple seedlings are asexual reproduction, but there will also be a variety of bad variations, such as multi-crown buds, cockscomb fruit, fan-shaped fruit, multi-ethnic fruit, malformed fruit and so on, and may even not bear fruit, so it is necessary to choose high-quality mother plants when propagating and picking buds.
At present, pineapple clones are propagated by three kinds of buds: descendant bud, sucking bud and crown bud.
2. The mode of vegetative propagation and seedling raising
1. Seedling cultivation
The small crown buds, sucking buds and small receptacle buds in the orchard were collected and planted in the nursery, and a piece of seedling land was set aside in the nursery to prepare the soil and wait for sprouting after applying base fertilizer. The collected buds are graded according to specifications, and planted with a row spacing of 5-10 square centimeters. Be careful not to be too deep when planting, so as not to affect the extension of the leaves. When the seedlings grow to 25cm, they can be supplied and planted out of the nursery.
It is best to choose the nursery close to the planting field, choose the sloping land with loose, fertile and good drainage, first rake the nursery with pears and then start the border, the length of the border is controlled at about 15-20m, the height is controlled at about 20cm, and the width of the furrow is about 30-50cm.
2. Prolong the bud on the stalk and delay the seedling growth during the renewal period.
After picking the fruit, the small buds left on the stalk can continue to grow, and when they grow to the height of 25cm, they can be picked and used as seedlings, the ploughing time of the area to be renewed in the garden should be delayed, and the soil management and care should be carried out according to normal fertilization and management for a period of time, such as spraying water and fertilizer or then applying quick-acting fertilizer to make the buds grow sturdily and then renew the soil, which can increase the number of seedlings to a certain extent.
3. Plant digging growth point to raise seedlings.
If there is a lack of seedlings during the popularization of fine varieties, the value-added seedlings with fruitless growing points can be dug out. When 20 green leaves are grown on the plants, the growing points on the plants should be dug out with a screwdriver, and the depth should be controlled at the destructive growing points. In order to promote the germination and growth of sucking buds, separate buds can be planted after reaching the planting standard. The bigger the plant, the stronger the sucking buds. This method is best carried out from May to August, and generally 2-5 sucking buds can be grown.

Fig planting method
Fig can be planted by cutting planting, split planting and striping planting, etc. At present, growers mostly adopt cutting planting, and in the middle of March every year, excellent ungerminated branches are cut into about 30-50cm branches, which are obliquely inserted into the soil.

Planting method of navel orange
The slightly acidic soil with sunny, good drainage, deep soil layer and rich organic matter was selected, navel orange was grafted with dwarf rootstock, and contour terraces were built on mountainous areas. the planting density was controlled at about 55 plants per mu and the plant row spacing was controlled at 3-4 m.
