When planting Wutan vegetables in different regions and different seasons, it is necessary to choose suitable varieties to achieve annual production. Generally, winter strong late bolting varieties can be selected in winter cultivation, weak winter varieties can be selected in spring cultivation, varieties with strong resistance and wide adaptability can be selected in high temperature and rainy season, and low temperature tolerant ground collapse varieties can be selected in autumn and winter cultivation.

North China: sowing directly from early May to early June, generally harvesting from late June to late July; sowing from mid to late August to early September, and harvesting from early October to early November; sowing and raising seedlings in early September, transplanting to sunny beds in late October, and harvesting from December to February of the following year.

The planting method of Brassica campestris

1. Seed treatment

Select the seeds with full grains, soak them in clean water for 1 hour, then take them out and put them in a cool place to cool them, so that the water on the surface of the seeds is dried.

2. Soil selection

It is best to choose fertile, loose or nutrient-rich humic soil. Before sowing, the soil should be watered to promote its growth. If sowing in summer, the amount of water should be increased appropriately.

3. Sowing and raising seedlings

According to the planting density, dig the pit around 10cm, put the seeds into the pit, and then cover the soil around 1cm on the top of the planting. Generally, as long as the climate is suitable, seedlings can emerge in about 3 days, and water should be watered once 30 days after emergence to promote the growth of Wutan. If there are few seedlings, you can apply a quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer.

4. Nissan Management

Regular watering, after the winter temperature is low, the growth rate of Wutan will slow down, you can pile up some plant ash on the soil to ensure the safety of Wutan through the winter.
