Environment: warm and humid environment, 20-30 ℃ is the suitable growth temperature, has strong cold resistance, and the growth rate is slow below 3 ℃. Soil: sand and stone mountain coarse bony soil, limestone cinnamon soil and general saline-alkali soil can be planted. Rizhao: it is suitable to plant where there is plenty of light, not intercropping. Moisture: it has strong drought resistance, and its plant growth is more exuberant and its yield is higher when the soil water condition is suitable.

Planting conditions of Flos Lonicerae

1. Environment. Honeysuckle likes to live in a mild and humid environment, and the optimum temperature for its growth is 20-30 ℃, but it has strong cold resistance. When the temperature is below 3 ℃, its physiological activity is weak and its growth rate is slow; when the temperature is above 5 ℃, it sprouts and shoots; when the temperature is above 16 ℃, the new shoots grow fast; when the temperature is about 20 ℃, its buds grow fast.

2. Soil. Honeysuckle has a strong ability to adapt to the environment, sandstone mountain coarse bone soil, limestone cinnamon soil and general saline-alkali land can be planted, the PH value is controlled between 4.2 and 8.7, but the soil moisture should not be too large, so as not to affect its growth and cause leaves to yellowing and falling off.

3. Sunshine. Honeysuckle has higher requirements for light, if the light is not enough, it will affect plant photosynthesis, resulting in slender branches and leaves, smaller leaves, stronger entanglement, and reduce bud differentiation, so it is best to plant it in places with sufficient light, not intercropping.

4. Moisture. Honeysuckle has strong drought resistance, can grow and blossom normally on the coarse bone soil with soil moisture content of about 10%. When the soil moisture condition is suitable, its plant growth is exuberant and the yield is higher.

Six varieties of honeysuckle

1. Big hairy flower. Flos Lonicerae is one of the oldest varieties of honeysuckle, which is now mostly planted in Pingyi County, Shandong Province, with high yield, but this variety is only suitable for planting on thin land in mountain areas.

2. Honeysuckle. Honeysuckle is very similar to common honeysuckle in appearance, but it belongs to honeysuckle family and is mostly distributed in the wild mountain forests of South China. Its taste is heavier than honeysuckle, and the flower is a little smaller than honeysuckle.

3. Tree-shaped four-season flowers. The tree-shaped four seasons flower is a new variety which is formed by selecting the best varieties from the big hairy flowers and is well-known in China at present.

4. Red honeysuckle. Red honeysuckle is an improved variety of tree-shaped four seasons flower, its flower color is red.

5. Lazy honeysuckle. The new type of honeysuckle produced by grafting was first grafted with tree-shaped honeysuckle and southern honeysuckle, but now it is generally based on tree-shaped honeysuckle and rootstocks are selected for grafting.

6. Jinhua No. 3. Jinhua No. 3 has large buds, twice as long needles as its parents, thick stems and leaves, thick green leaves, high yield, strong photosynthesis and strong plants.
