Strawberry is suitable to be planted in the soil with loose soil fertility, good drainage and irrigation, good fertilizer and water retention, ploughing and fertilization improvement after selecting the land, making a good bed can be planted, and planting density should be controlled during planting. Strawberry requires high temperature, and the most suitable temperature for growth is 22-25 ℃. The growth of strawberry will be affected if it is lower than 5 ℃ or higher than 30 ℃. In the later stage, regular inspection of orchards, timely drainage and irrigation and pest control can effectively increase the yield.

1. Planting environment

Strawberries are not suitable for planting in places with uneven ground and low topography. Strawberries are suitable for planting in soils with loose soil fertility, good water retention, good drainage and irrigation conditions and good permeability, and the soil needs to be acidic or neutral. Excessive alkali will affect the development of strawberries, the best soil crops are beans and melons.

2. Improve the soil quality

After selecting and planting, you still need to clear the weeds between the fields, disinfect the land, and apply sufficient mature farm manure for about 5 days. The amount of base fertilizer is generally determined according to the area, about 5000 kilograms per mu, combined with an appropriate amount of calcium superphosphate and potassium chloride. Fertilization can be carried out with ploughing to mix fertilizer and soil evenly, thus improving soil fertility. It is best to make beds to help strawberries grow and manage later.

3. Planting method

Planting needs to control the depth and only one plant can be planted in each hole to ensure that the inflorescence of the plant is in the same growth direction. According to the planting area and soil fertility to reasonably control the planting density, too thin or too dense will affect the yield of strawberry, whether the planting method is correct or not is directly related to the later growth and management.

4. Regular watering

According to the water-loving characteristics of strawberries, it is necessary to irrigate enough water to root after planting, and then make sure the soil is moist, at least once a week. As strawberries need a lot of water in the growth process, especially in the flowering period, in order to prevent the phenomenon of falling flowers and fruits, it must be watered in time to ensure yield.

5. Rational fertilization

Strawberries should be planted with sufficient base fertilizer, especially in the flowering and fruiting period. We can apply fertilizer reasonably according to the growth period, such as flowering and fruiting period, fruit expansion period and the final ripening period. The main application of diammonium phosphate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate and other fertilizers to improve its yield, topdressing need to pay attention to a reasonable proportion, comprehensive nutrition, and efficiently promote its growth.

6. Temperature management

Strawberries like temperature and have high requirements for temperature. when planting, we need to reasonably control the growth temperature and strictly control the temperature. Strawberries are suitable for growing at a temperature of 22 °to 25 °. If the temperature exceeds 5 °to 30 °, the normal growth of strawberries will be affected. Strawberries can grow better at the right temperature, so we should keep the temperature within a suitable range.

7. Post-management

Regular inspection of the orchard, timely removal of withered leaves, old leaves and diseased leaves, timely cleaning of fallen flowers and fruits and diseased fruits, and good control of plant growth to prevent excessive growth. In rainy days, it is easy to do a good job of drainage and irrigation in time, drought and timely watering, the humidity of the orchard should not be too high, it is easy to appear the phenomenon of European root rotten fruit, affecting the yield. In the later stage, it is necessary to do a good job in the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests, so as to effectively increase the yield.
