The causes of rotten fruit are diseases, poor soil conditions, improper cultivation and management, etc., and the solutions are diseases: if diseases are found, Trichoderma can be used for control, timely removal of old leaves, diseased flowers and fruits, and so on. Poor soil conditions: it is best to choose good drainage and irrigation, good fertilizer conservation, good permeability and loose soil planting, disinfection before planting, but also reasonable rotation. Improper cultivation management: using high ridge cultivation, keeping ventilation at any time, reasonable fertilization and so on.

First, the cause of rotten fruit

1. Poor soil conditions.

Poor soil conditions during strawberry cultivation will also lead to rotten fruit. If the permeability is not good, the nutrients are not enough, the soil is heavy, the supply of fertility is not enough, coupled with the harmful substances and germs brought by the crops, it is more likely to cause fruit disease and cause rotten fruit.

2. Improper cultivation and management

Some fruit growers do not apply reasonable fertilizer when planting, partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, reasonable application of nitrogen fertilizer can promote plant growth, excessive application can easily lead to plant growth, resistance decline, easy to infection diseases, if not completely mature farm fertilizer will also cause fruit rot.

3. Disease

The diseases that cause strawberry fruit rot are Phytophthora fruit rot, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, anthracnose, powdery mildew, gray mold and so on. Strawberries are generally planted in the greenhouse, but the temperature and humidity in the greenhouse are very high, and the ventilation conditions are not good. In this environment, it is easy to breed germs. If strawberries are most susceptible to infection, it will also cause cross-infection of various diseases. In a humid environment, once infected with diseases, it is easy to cause rotten fruit.

II. Prevention and control methods

1. Select improved varieties

When planting, we can choose varieties with strong disease resistance and strong growth, which can reduce the occurrence of disease and rotten fruit.

2. Deal with rotten fruit

If a small amount of infected rotten fruit is found, the diseased flowers, leaves and fruits should be removed in time. In order to avoid the spread of the disease, we need to cut off the route of transmission, reduce the source of the disease, remove the old leaves in time and enhance its permeability.

3. Soil treatment

When planting, the soil with good permeability, good drainage and irrigation, loose soil and good fertilizer preservation should be selected, and plant ash or lime powder should be used for disinfection before planting. In addition, the soil problems caused by crop rotation can be solved by reasonable rotation.

4. High ridge cultivation

In order to solve the problem of drainage and fruit contact with the ground, we can cultivate in high ridges and use drip irrigation to not only save water, but also ensure sufficient soil moisture for plants, and keep ventilation after watering, so as to reduce air humidity. You can't water on rainy days.

5. Chemical control

If diseases are found, we need to use chemicals to control them in time. Generally, the control agent we use is Trichoderma, which has a good control effect and is effective for most diseases.
