Soil: White snowflakes are suitable for cultivation in mixed soils such as garden soil, rotten leaf soil and coarse sand. Light temperature: White snowflakes love sunlight, and the suitable growth temperature is 18-25 ℃, but proper shade is needed in summer. Watering: water every morning and evening in summer, every three days in spring and autumn, and once a week in winter. Fertilization: apply nitrogen fertilizer every 15 days or so, and apply a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer after May. Pruning: the diseased and withered flowers need to be trimmed after flowering.

First, the culture method of white snowflake

1. Select soil

White snowflake likes loose and fertile slightly acidic soil, so it is not suitable to be cultured in alkaline soil. in order to ensure its healthy growth, garden soil, rotten leaf soil and coarse sand can be used.

2. Light temperature

White snowflakes love the sun, so in addition to summer, the growth period should be moved to the sun for about 6 hours every day, and appropriate shade should be carried out in summer to avoid sunburn caused by too strong ultraviolet rays. The suitable growth temperature of white snowflakes is between 18 and 25 ℃.

3. Proper watering

In summer, white snowflakes need to be watered once every morning and evening, and the watering temperature should be the same as the room temperature, which is beneficial to its growth and development. It can be watered once every 3-4 days in early autumn and about 7 days in winter.

4. Rational fertilization

During the growth period of white snowflakes, a lot of nutrients are needed, so fertilizers need to be applied every 15 days or so. After sprouting, mainly nitrogen fertilizer is applied, and after May, a small amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is needed to promote the flowers to bloom more vigorously.

5. Pruning after flowering

After the snowflake blossoms, it is necessary to prune the diseased and withered flowers, which usually blossom again in about 20 days. The more the snowflakes are trimmed, the more luxuriant they will grow.

II. Breeding methods of White Snowflake

1. Sowing method: the newly purchased white snowflake seeds can be buried in the soil covered with coarse vermiculite, and the suitable temperature in the seedling stage is between 18-21 ℃, usually about 5 days.

2. Cutting method: in late spring or early autumn, it is a suitable period for cutting white snowflakes, the substrate can choose clean vermiculite or perlite, cut off about 5-7cm with new buds or tender branches in the same year, cut off half of the leaves below, and then cut them with tender tips.

3. It usually takes about 20-30 days after cutting to take root. At this stage, the soil in the basin should be kept moist, covered with plastic film, and water should be sprayed every day during this period, so as to improve the success rate of cutting.

III. Prevention and control of diseases and insect pests of white snowflakes

White snowflakes basically rarely occur diseases and insect pests, the more common diseases are powdery mildew, generally on the back of the old leaves of white snowflakes, there is often a large amount of white powder, then the sick and residual leaves need to be cut off with scissors, and new branches and leaves will grow soon.
