Abstract varieties: select large fruit varieties with shallow dormancy period. Cultivate strong seedlings: choose a seedling bed or plastic basin with good water retention and ventilation. Soil preparation and planting: keep the row spacing of 20-25cm, and the number of plants planted per mu is about 7000. Field management: temperature control, humidity control, watering, fertilization, plant adjustment, artificial pollination, pest control, hormone spraying, supplementary lighting and heating, etc.

1. Variety selection

Try to select large fruit varieties with shallow dormancy period.

2. Cultivate strong seedlings

(1) Strawberry creeping rootstock should be selected in the growth stage of strong seedlings.

(2) From early to mid August, transplant strawberries into open seedbeds or plastic pots, and use seedling beds or plastic pots with good water retention and air permeability to start seedling cultivation.

(3) Strawberries like sun but fear high temperature. After transplantation, they should be covered with a layer of sunshade net to cool them down.

(4) After living trees, fertilizer and water should be controlled and strictly managed. In September, shade nets should be removed in time to prevent excessive growth of rhizomes.

3. Soil preparation and planting

(1) First, the soil in the greenhouse is deeply ploughed, and fertilizer is buried at the same time. 3000-4000kg/mu of fully decomposed stable fertilizer is applied, and 50-60kg compound fertilizer is used as base fertilizer.

(2) Then make a ridge, the depth is about 25-30cm, and the width distance between the ridge and the ditch is about 1m. For example, it takes 6m to make a strawberry greenhouse.

(3) After making the ridge, cover a layer of plastic film on the ridge surface in the middle and late September, punch holes in the plastic film, and plant after planting.

(4) When planting, 2 rows are planted in each plot, the row spacing is 25cm×20cm, and the number of planted plants is about 7000/mu.

(5) When planting, pay attention to the inflorescence facing the ditch, planting depth should be the standard of root neck and soil level, and the seedling center should not be buried in the soil.

4. Field management

(1) Temperature control

The suitable temperature for strawberry growth is 25-30℃ in the day and higher than 12℃ at night in the early stage of planting, 20-23℃ in the day and higher than 5℃ at night in the fruiting stage.

In the middle of October, it is best to cover with double film to control the temperature for plant growth and promote development.

(2) Humidity control

Relative humidity should be maintained at about 50%, which is conducive to strawberry growth.

3) Watering

During the fruit expansion period, the rhizomes grow rapidly, and the water demand of strawberries increases. At this time, the strawberry can be watered by drip irrigation. The soil layer above 7-8cm on the ground can be wet.

(4) Topdressing

When topdressing, you need to master the principle of thin fertilizer and frequent application, do not apply fertilizer at one time. 0.5% compound fertilizer can be applied after planting.

After harvest about 4 weeks to carry out topdressing, can be used 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 0.4% urea solution mixed application, according to the actual situation to use topdressing outside the root.

(5) Plant adjustment

Strawberry growth period, should be timely removed dead leaves, sick leaves, creeping old stems and residual buds, so as not to lose unnecessary nutrients, each strawberry should also choose to leave 2-3 good tillers, redundant tillers and low-level flowers in time to wipe out.

(6) Artificial pollination

The flowering period of strawberry is about 8-9 a.m., at this time, the whole flower can be smeared with a brush for pollination. It is best to choose the pollination site in the shed, which can improve the fruit setting rate and good fruit rate of strawberry. The frequency of pollination is once a day.

(7) Prevention and control of diseases and insect pests

Strawberry is easy to be infected with diseases and insect pests in low temperature and rainy weather. When gray mold is obtained, it can be controlled by spraying 1000-1500 times of 50% Sukeling WP.

When powdery mildew is obtained, 3000-4000 times solution of 20% triadimefon emulsifiable concentrate can be used for control, and attention should be paid to the control of aphids.

(8) Hormone spraying

Spraying 10×10-6 erythrotoxin solution on the first leaf of strawberry at growth and flowering stage respectively could increase yield and preserve quality.

(9) Light supplement and warming

In winter season, strawberries need to be supplemented with light. 60 watt light cannons are set up in the shed to heat them. One is placed every 1.5 m, which can keep the lowest temperature in the shed at about 5℃ and harvest them about 4 weeks ahead of time.
