Therefore, the harvest can be carried out after the first snow, and if the field with stem propagation is relatively close to the greenhouse, it can be harvested at the beginning of production in the greenhouse, and two buds should be retained at the bottom of each stem during harvest, which is helpful to promote the germination of new branches in the coming year.

III. Storage of stalks

If the stalk is recycled in advance, it should not be put in the open field, because there are more spongy tissue of the stalk with tender buds, and the weather is dry and windy in winter. If the stalk is stacked outside, the phenomenon of bud dryness will appear on the stem surface in a short period of time, thus seriously affecting the quality and yield of the bud.

Therefore, after the stalk is recovered, it is necessary to cover rice straw or corn straw, etc., and store it thoroughly with water. if you encounter heavy snow in winter, you can bury the stalk in the snow, so that the stalk taken out can be plump and vibrant when planting.

Fourth, the production of stalks

It is suitable to choose stalks with a diameter above 1.5cm. In the segments where 30cm is grown by cutting against the tip of the bud, 50 stems are generally bundled into a bundle.
