Family soilless cultivation can be carried out in ordinary pots such as plastic pots and vegetable pots, the transplanted seedlings should not carry soil, the root mud should be carefully washed in clean water, and then the roots should be placed in the diluted nutrient solution to fully absorb nutrients for cultivation, a small amount of pebbles should be covered around the plants, so that the plants will not be dumped, and during the growth of flowers, appropriate amount of nutrient solution and water can be irrigated according to the growth conditions. Give appropriate light, do a good job in temperature, humidity and other management work.

Family soilless cultivation technique

1. Soilless cultivation can be carried out in ordinary pots such as vegetarian pots and plastic pots. Before cultivation, the raw materials of various substrates should be mixed according to the proportion of 1:1, or put separately into plastic pots.

2. When the seedlings grow 3-5 leaves, they should be cultured in a pot. Before transplanting, the root system with soil should be put in clean water, gently scrub the root mud, be careful not to hurt the root system, and then put it in a solution of 5-10 times dilution than the normal concentration. Soak for about 10 minutes, so that the root system can fully absorb nutrients.

3. After transplanting, cover a small amount of quartz sand or pebbles around the plant so that the plant will not be dumped, and then pour 0.5 times of the nutrient solution around the plant and pour it to the drainage hole at the bottom of the basin.

4. In the process of culture, water should be watered once every 1-3 days, diluted nutrient solution once every 7-10 days, and then the normal concentration of nutrient solution should be poured after the plant returns to growth.

5. The number and amount of nutrient solution irrigated should be determined according to flower species, plant size, different growth periods, different seasons, places and so on. When potted flowers are cultivated indoors, they can be irrigated every 7-15 days in the growth process. The use of soilless flowers, the usual maintenance and management and soil cultivation are basically the same, according to the habits of flowers, give good light, temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions.

6. The seedling stage can be watered every 15-20 days, and the flowers can be watered every 15 days during the dormant period. Generally, the positive flowers with about 20cm inner diameter can be irrigated with 100ml nutrient solution each time, while the amount of negative flowers needs to be reduced. If it is a long-acting flower fertilizer irrigated, its dosage should refer to the instructions.

7. at the beginning, we should pay attention to the right amount of nutrient solution, and the dosage should be less rather than more. If we overpour the nutrient solution, it will easily lead to harm such as scorched leaves. When cultivating flowers without soil, we need to master the time and dosage of pouring nutrient solution, but also according to the demand for water of different varieties of flowers, so as to ensure the wetness of the substrate in the basin and promote the robust growth of flowers.

8. In order to prevent the loss of nutrient solution, a watertight container can be selected for cultivation. The container which is more suitable for family soilless cultivation is composed of two parts, a flowerpot with matrix is arranged, and then the flower seedlings are placed in it. Then configure a watertight container containing nutrient solution.

9. Before the root system of the plant extends into the nutrient solution, it needs to be properly watered, and then a small amount of dilute nutrient solution is irrigated every 5-7 days. After the root system extends into the nutrition, it can be transferred to normal management.

10, during the period according to the growth habits of flowers, regularly add nutrient solution and water, need to thoroughly change the nutrient solution once a month, and clean the container containing nutrient solution, usually the amount of nutrient solution in the container, about 2 beat 3 of the container depth is appropriate, if there is too much, there will be no gaps, resulting in all the roots soaked in the nutrient solution, the plant will cause rotting roots due to lack of oxygen.
