Sowing and raising seedlings: first of all, it is necessary to soak seeds to accelerate germination, and then select the budded seeds to sow reasonably and control the temperature. Planting and fertilization: when the seedling grows to 4 leaves and 1 heart, it can be planted in a sunny day in April, and then deeply ploughed and planted. Late management: after planting, it should be covered with a small arch shed, and after slowing down the seedlings, it should be sprayed with drugs to prevent the seedlings from growing too much, and scaffolds should be set up in the later stage. Timely harvest: it can be harvested 10-14 days after flowering, when the fruit is fully grown and relatively fragile and tender.

First, sowing and raising seedlings

1. Before sowing the towel gourd, the seeds should be treated with 55-60 ℃ water for 15 minutes, then soaked in 25 ℃ water for about 4 hours, rinse the mucus on the surface of the seed coat, wrap the seeds with gauze and put them in the incubator to accelerate germination.

2. Select good seeds and sow about 1-2 seeds per bowl, and sow about 500g per mu. The temperature must be kept at about 28-33 ℃ before emergence. After emergence, the temperature should be properly ventilated to prevent the seedlings from growing, and the temperature should be controlled at 23-25 ℃.

II. Colonization and fertilization

1. When the seedlings grow to 4 leaves and 1 heart, they can be planted on a sunny day in the middle of April. Be sure to apply sufficient base fertilizer before planting. Generally, about 5000 kg of high-quality farm manure, 80-120kg of calcium superphosphate and 25-30kg of urea can be used per mu.

2. After deeply ploughing 20cm and building beds after raking flat, about 2800 seedlings can be planted per mu.

III. Post-management

The main results are as follows: 1. After planting, it is necessary to cover with a small arch shed with as little ventilation as possible, so as to increase the room temperature in the small arch shed, which is helpful to promote the slow seedling. After the slow seedling, it is necessary to spray 0.012% ethephon or 0.2% for a long time to prevent the seedlings from overgrowing, so as to promote the appearance of more female flowers. At the same time, be sure to pour the water thoroughly at one time, and then transfer to the squatting seedlings.

2. When the seedlings grow to 30cm or so, they can set up brackets, and use the zigzag shape to bind the vines and lead them up. Generally, the main vines are melons, and the lateral vines can be removed.

3. When melons and vines grow at the same time, it is necessary to re-apply water and fertilizer, generally watering once every 2-3 days and applying fertilizer once every 5-6 days. Each mu of topdressing can use about 500 kg of human feces and urine or 20-25 kg of ammonium nitrate.

IV. Timely harvest

About 10-14 days after flowering, the fruit can be harvested when the fruit is fully grown and crisp. Generally pick in the morning, can be cut from the stalk with scissors, packaging and finishing can be put on the market for sale.
