1. A new method of accelerating sprouting of turmeric

There are many methods of sprouting, such as Yang bed budding method, steamer stacking method, greenhouse budding method.

1. Yang bed sprouting method

Dig a sunny bed with a width of 15m, a depth of 0.6m and a custom length, spread a layer of wheat or straw at the bottom, put the ginger seeds in, pile up the 30cm thickness, and then build an arch and cover it with plastic film. A layer of straw can be added at night to keep warm, so it can sprout successfully in a month or so.

2. Steamer stacking method

(1) pile the ginger on the hot Kang, leave a round hole of about 30 centimeters in the middle of the first layer of ginger, and then pile the ginger up, the round hole will gradually close to the middle, and when it is piled up to about 60 centimeters, the hole will shrink to about 20 meters.

(2) A cylindrical conical space with broad bottom and narrow top is formed in the middle of the whole pile of ginger. The advantage of this new method is that the round hole can transfer heat upward at the bottom, and the average temperature difference between the top and bottom is less than 2 ℃.

(3) this new sprouting technology can achieve full and prosperous buds, facilitate planting and later management, increase the yield of ginger, increase the budding rate, facilitate the management of ginger in the later stage, and increase production and income.

3. Sprouting in greenhouse

Plant ginger on the straw in the greenhouse and cover it with straw. At the beginning of germination, the low temperature remained between 20 ℃ and 23 ℃, and then increased to more than 25 ℃ and less than 28 ℃, and the humidity was higher.

Second, conventional sprouting of turmeric

1. Seed selection

2. Seed drying

(1) after breaking the seed, it is necessary to sun the seed first, that is, put it on the ground to dry the seed, which is helpful to kill the germs on the seed and promote its germination as soon as possible.

(2) when drying seeds, you need to make it thinner when drying, which is beneficial to turning and drying evenly, and the drying time is 6 to 7 days in a row.

3. Accelerating budding

(1) in the north, you need to use a hot Kang to promote budding. the common method is to cover the Kang with wheat straw no higher than ten centimeters to smooth it, and then put ginger on it. Its height is 60 centimeters.

(2) at the same time need to cover with wheat straw and quilt, to ensure its temperature, the general temperature is 25 to 30 degrees, at the same time after 25 to 35 days on the line.

(3) the seeds can be sown when they grow to 0.5 cm to 1.5 cm.

(4) separate according to the size of the ginger bud, if the root of the ginger bud is more than 2 cm, it cannot be used. And need to spread according to the size of ginger sprouts.

Matters needing attention in the process of sprouting

1. Chilli stalks, tobacco stalks and camphor branches can not be used as firewood, because it will cause smoke and ginger to cause rotten seeds and buds.

2. It is necessary to burn the fire evenly, not too big or too small.

3. It is necessary to assign someone to be responsible, strengthen the management of the whole process, and solve problems in a timely manner. This is very important for promoting a good bud.

4. After planting ginger to accelerate sprouting, we should also do a good job of selecting ginger and get rid of those mute ginger which are yellow, how thin and weak the bud is, the bud tip is not strong, the head is cracked, and the ginger is sick and does not sprout.
