Change the basin: the basin needs to be changed once a year, be careful not to damage the root system, the time to change the basin in April-May in spring. Watering: snow aloe is more resistant to drought and needs to be watered. Fertilization: organic fertilizer is applied every 15 days during the growing period. Light and temperature: sufficient light is needed for plant growth, which should be controlled above 10 ℃ in winter.

First, snow aloe

Snow aloe is a plant of the genus Aloe of Liliaceae. The plant has no stem, the plant height is about 10-15cm, the crown width is about 20-25cm, the leaf is triangular lanceolate, the width is about 2-3cm, the length is about 10cm, the leaf surface is bright green, arranged in the shape of rosette, the terminal raceme, the length is 30cm or so, the flower is pink, tube-shaped, long for 2.5cm or so, and generally blooms in summer.

II. Planting methods of snowflake aloe

1. Soil requirements

Snow aloe in breeding should choose better drainage, fertile, loose, good permeability of the soil for planting, you can also choose pastoral soil, rotten leaf soil, river sand, according to the proportion of 2:2:1 to prepare basin soil, coal ash can also be used instead of river sand, the proportion is the same.

2. Change the basin at the right time

Snow aloe must change the basin at the right time when breeding, probably once a year, it is better to change the basin in April-May in spring, pay attention to it when changing the basin, must not damage the root system of the plant, directly replace the new soil after pouring out the old soil in the basin, then plant, water thoroughly, compact the soil, and finally put it in a cool place to slow down the seedlings.

3. Proper watering

Snow aloe is relatively resistant to drought, can be watered in a small amount when just planted, can appropriately increase the number of watering until the growing period, need to control the amount of watering in summer, keep the basin soil dry in winter, and watering a small amount.

4. Rational fertilization

Snow aloe prefer fertilizer, generally in its growing season, should be timely applied organic fertilizer or long-term compound fertilizer, about every 15 days fertilization, after each fertilization must immediately irrigate water, help to promote the root system to better absorb nutrients, pay attention to the use of agricultural fertilizer, easy to lead to snow aloe root burning, plant death.

5. Suitable light and temperature

Snow aloe is a tropical plant, suitable for growing in sunny places, in summer high temperature weather, can grow in strong light, but it is not cold-resistant, winter maintenance must be appropriate heat preservation, temperature control above 10 ℃, snow aloe can grow normally, such as the temperature below 3 ℃, the plant basically stops growing, leaves will also be frostbitten.
