Selection of pots and soil: choose medium-sized flowerpots for planting, and fine sand, garden soil and appropriate amount of rotten leaves can be selected to prepare pot soil according to a certain proportion. Timely watering: the succulent Buddha's palm can withstand drought and wait for the leaves of the plant to wilt before watering. Rational fertilization: apply dilute liquid fertilizer every 15 days in summer and autumn. Lighting requirements: Buddha palms need sufficient light during the whole growth process. Temperature requirements: the suitable growth temperature is 16-28 ℃. Propagation method: sowing propagation or cutting propagation can be used.

First, select the basin to match the soil.

The main results are as follows: 1. The palm of succulent Buddha is suitable to grow in fertile sandy loam with good drainage conditions. Medium-sized flowerpots should be selected for planting, and sandy loam should be selected as the cultivation medium.

2. If the conditions permit, we can also make the basin soil, choose garden soil, appropriate amount of rotten leaves and fine sand, and prepare it according to a certain proportion.

Second, timely watering

The main results are as follows: 1. The succulent Buddha's palm is more resistant to drought, so in daily maintenance, we must wait until the plant leaves wilt before watering, otherwise it will lead to excessive growth of leaves and less flower bud differentiation.

2. If the succulent Buddha's palm is not watered for a long time, the leaves will wilt all the time. At this time, the leaves will become normal and stiffen if they are not in a hurry and properly watered.

III. Rational fertilization

The succulent Buddha's palm does not need much fertilizer in the process of growth. In summer and autumn, thin liquid fertilizer should be applied every 15 days or so. Excessive fertilization should not be applied, which will affect the salinity of the basin soil. In addition, organic fertilizer can not be applied without full fermentation.

Fourth, lighting requirements

The succulent Buddha palm needs sufficient light in the process of growth, which is conducive to its normal growth, especially in the case of relatively low temperature, should ensure all-day sunshine, if it is placed in a dark environment, the leaves of the palm will gradually grow, the leaves will be white-green, and the number of flowers will decrease, and the color of the flowers will be relatively dim.

Temperature requirements

The succulent Buddha palm is suitable to grow at a temperature of 16-28 ℃. In winter, the temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃. If the temperature is higher than 30 ℃, the plant will gradually enter a semi-dormant state, so the succulent Buddha palm maintained on the balcony has a lower probability of insect pests and will not be attacked by animals.

VI. Methods of reproduction

1. Sowing and propagation: when the succulent Buddha's palm is in bloom, it begins to collect seeds and sow them in the basin from the end of April to the middle of May. The room temperature should be controlled at about 20-24 ℃, and the seedlings will emerge in about 10 days. When the seedlings grow above 3cm, they can start to divide and transplant. In the seedling stage, they should place in a cool place to keep the potted soil moist and should not be watered.

2. Cutting propagation: leaves will gradually fall from the base of the stem of more than 2-year-old Buddha's palm, sprout and draw lateral branches at the leaf marks, then cut off the lateral branches, remove a few leaves at the base, expose the stem and insert it into the moist sandy soil, keep the sandy soil moist, put it in a warm and shady room, and it will take root in about 20 days.
