After soil preparation, about 2200 kg of cow dung mixed with appropriate amount of fire soil ash is applied to the row ditch, covering a small amount of soil, and then the seed stem is placed on the soil, and the soil is covered with 7cm. Key points of management: after spring emergence, 300kg dung per mu is applied, and 2-3 times of intertillage are needed in the later stage. When flowering, dung can be mixed with tung withered and vegetable withered fertilizer, and flowers can be picked when the flowers grow to about 6cm.

I. cultivation techniques

1. Soil selection

Lily is sunny, cold-tolerant and drought-tolerant, and the soil is suitable for black sandy soil and yellow sandy soil. The second wasteland can also be used for cultivation, but it needs more fertilizer, so it is not suitable to be cultivated in sandy land and false mud land, and continuous cropping is avoided.

2. Land preparation

You can choose to turn the soil to 23-27cm depth between the Beginning of Autumn and the End of Heat. 2000-2500 kg of cow dung can be used as base fertilizer per mu. After exposure to the sun, the soil can be crushed and sorted around August-September.

3. Seed selection

There are Ono lily, also known as single-hearted lily, rice lily and multi-heart lily, rice lily color is white, Ono lily and multi-heart lily are red and white, Ono lily and rice lily yield is high, and heart lily yield is higher.

4. Planting

The main results are as follows: (1) it can be planted from July to September, and it is suitable for the Beginning of Autumn to plant after July-August. Firstly, the hole with row spacing of 27-33cm, plant spacing of 17-20cm and row depth of 16cm can be planted in the field. 5000-6000 mu can be planted, and the amount of seed used is 200-300kg.

(2) then apply 250kg-300kg dung per mu, mix appropriate amount of fire soil ash into the row ditch, and cover a small amount of soil, then put the seed stem on the soil, and then cover the thickness of 7cm with the soil in the second row, which is the same as the method of cultivating Polygonatum odoratum.

II. Key points of management

1. Ploughing and topdressing

The main results are as follows: (1) after emergence in the spring of the second year, a hoe can be used to open the shallow section, apply 300 kg of dung per mu, then cover the soil, and then plough 2-3 times in the later stage, and weeds need to be removed in time.

(2) during flowering, dung can be mixed with vegetable wilt and tung withered to fertilize. After application, it is necessary to cover the soil, which is beneficial to promote bulb growth. Pig and dog dung should not be used during flowering, otherwise it will lead to black spots of lilies.

2. Pick flowers

The need to pick flowers in time in the later stage is conducive to increase the yield of lilies. Generally, flowers can be picked when the flowers grow to about 6cm. If flowers are not picked in time, it will not be conducive to the growth of underground bulbs, and even do not grow bulbs in serious cases.

3. Prevention and control of diseases

(1) Rhizoctonia solani: the root system of the affected plant will wither at first, and then the leaves will turn yellow and die from the bottom up, generally without chemical control, the main preventive measures are to choose land cultivation with good drainage, or for high border cultivation and rotation, ditches and drainage are also needed to prevent stagnant water in the field.

(2) Rot disease: the leaves of the damaged plants are purple or yellow, the whole plant will soon wither and die, the bulbs will rot black and gray, ditches and drainage can be opened during the period, soil moisture can be reduced, crop rotation can be carried out, and shading is needed in high temperature weather. in the early stage of the disease, 50% demori ammonium can be used to splash the soil.

4. Pest control

(1) fecal bract: when the insect grows to 1-1.5cm, it likes to eat mesophyll, resulting in leaf atrophy, short scales, and finally death. During this period, it can be caught by hand or prevented with calcium arsenate.

(2) ladybugs: like to eat mesophyll, the injured leaves will shrink, resulting in scales not long, during which calcium arsenate can be used for prevention and control.

(3) Dendrolimus: mainly harms the bulbs and roots, the growth period is usually from late June to mid-July, during which larvae should be avoided and appropriate amount of poison bait can be used to kill pests when planting.

III. Harvest

Harvesting can be carried out after Greater Heat, and the harvest needs to be carried out on a sunny day after rain and when the soil is slightly moist, first pull out the seedlings, and then dig up the lilies with a hoe. If harvested in time, 100kg of dry lilies can be processed every 280kg. After lily harvest, it is necessary to remove the soil and wash clean, and then peel off the scales and stack them according to the outer, inner and central layers to facilitate later processing.

IV. Processing

1. First of all, wash the scales in the bamboo basket, then boil the scales with 40 kilograms of water in a cauldron, and then pour the 10 kilograms of scales into the pot and cover them. Generally, turn them once in 1-2 minutes. After 8-10 minutes, take out a scale, and check the back after cooling. If there are small shallow cracks, you can pick up the human sun mat, spread it out and dry it for 4-5 days.

2. If you encounter a rainy day, you can use coal fire or white charcoal fire to dry the Kang, and then smoke it with sulfur fire for 2-3 days. If it is not dry, it is not suitable for accumulation, otherwise it is easy to cause retting deterioration.
