Land selection for planting: cowpea should be planted in plots with flat terrain, good permeability and good drainage, and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied after soil preparation. Sowing time: cowpeas can be sown all the year round in the greenhouse. Reasonable close planting: planting according to the size of the ridge, hole distance of 27-30cm, each hole can plant 2-3 plants. Late management: do a good job of keeping warm from the cold in advance, wipe the greenhouse film regularly, properly water it, topdressing every half a month, and ventilation should be carried out about 2 hours after fertilization.

I. selection of land and land preparation

The main results are as follows: 1. Cowpea cultivation is not strict to the soil, and most of the soil can be planted. In order to improve the yield and quality, cowpea should be planted in the soil with flat terrain, good drainage, good permeability and plenty of sunshine.

2. After selecting the planting land, the soil can be prepared and ploughed, which is beneficial to the normal growth of cowpea. According to the soil conditions, an appropriate amount of base fertilizer can be applied, usually about 2000 kg of rotten organic fertilizer per mu.

Second, sowing time

Cowpea is suitable for growing in warm climate and can be planted from spring to autumn. With the development of planting technology, cowpea can be planted in the greenhouse all the year round and in the open field from February to August. The temperature at this stage is very suitable for cowpea growth.

Third, reasonable close planting

The main results are as follows: 1. Cowpea in overwintering crop grows in low light and low temperature for a long time, so it will affect plant photosynthesis and normal growth, so close planting should be carried out reasonably in order to prevent leaves from blocking light each other.

2. The plants can be planted according to the size and ridge of 70cm and 50cm. The distance between holes is about 27-30cm, and about 2-3 plants can be planted in each hole. After planting, the plants can be watered thoroughly. In order to prevent the evaporation of aboveground water, new high-fat film can be sprayed, and the incidence of diseases and insect pests can be reduced, and the plants can grow rapidly. After intertillage, a layer of plastic film can be covered.

IV. Post-management

1. In winter, the work of preventing cold and keeping warm should be done in advance, and the greenhouse film should be scrubbed regularly to effectively improve the daylighting of the greenhouse. Plants can be watered in small amounts in winter. In order to promote flower bud differentiation, Huawang No. 3 can be applied to inhibit the growth of the main shoot. Before the cowpea shelf and before flowering, about 15 kg of ammonium sulfate can be applied per mu. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of pollen, vegetable fruit Zhuangtieling can be sprayed on the leaves, thus effectively increasing the rate of fruit setting.

2. In the buccal period of the plant, topdressing can be applied every 10-15 days, and about 15-20 kg of ammonium sulfate can be applied each time. At flowering stage, carbon dioxide gas fertilizer can be applied in sunny weather, and proper ventilation should be carried out about 2 hours after fertilization. Cowpea in the late growth stage, if the root aging, plant senescence, can be foliar spraying 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixed 800-fold liquid new high-fat film, which is beneficial to prolong pod setting.

V. Prevention and control of diseases and insect pests

Cowpea cultivation in greenhouse, such as high humidity, low temperature and poor ventilation for a long time, is easy to cause diseases and insect pests, such as charcoal maggot, leaf spot, rust, leaf mold, aphids, pod borer and so on. If diseases are found, timely prevention and control must be carried out. In order to improve efficacy, reduce the number of application and drug residues, targeted spraying drugs can be applied together with an appropriate amount of new high-fat film.
