Last Updated: 2024/11/08, It takes about 1.5-17000 seedlings per mu for planting heavy buildings, select a suitable seedbed, turn the soil deeply and disinfect it, then open a sowing ditch about the depth of 5cm, arrange the seeds according to the spacing of 5cm, then cover the soil with about 3cm, and then cover the fine dung of 2cm.

It takes 1.5-17000 seedlings per mu to plant heavy buildings, select a suitable seedling bed, turn the soil deeply and disinfect it, then open the sowing ditch about the depth of 5cm, arrange the seeds according to the spacing of 5cm, then cover the soil with 3cm or so, cover the fine dung of 2cm or so, and cover with plastic film after watering through, the seedlings will emerge in about 7 days, and the seedlings will be transplanted in about one month.

I. sowing method

1. Seed direct broadcast

The heavy building is usually sown after the rain in the first and middle of January, the row spacing is about 30-35cm, the plant spacing is about 20-25cm, the depth is about 3-5cm, the ridge and furrow of 130cm is 4 rows, and the ridge and furrow of 150cm is one line.

Choose the treated seeds mixed with plant ash to sow, each pond can sow about 2-3 seeds, then cover the soil and fertilize, and water immediately after the soil is dry, about 7-10 days will sprout.

2. Seedling raising and transplanting

First of all, select a suitable seedbed, before digging the soil need to disinfect the soil, and then the soil will be leveled and fine after sowing ditch, the depth is about 5cm.

The seeds were arranged according to the spacing of 5cm, then covered with the soil around 3cm, covered with fine dung around 2cm, watered through and then covered with plastic film, the seedlings would emerge in about 7 days, and the seedlings could be transplanted in about 1 month, and about 1.5-17000 plants could be planted per mu.

II. Planting management methods and matters needing attention

1. Select soil

Heavy buildings do not have high requirements for soil and climate, so it is better to choose lime-bubble soil and saprotic soil as the first choice, which can be planted in the shady and flat land with short sunshine or in the night tide areas with strong water retention and loose texture.

2. Soil preparation and fertilization

Because the root system of the heavy building is relatively shallow, it needs to be integrated into a ditch with a width of 120-150cm. About 3000-5000 kg of forest humus fertilizer or soil fertilizer can be applied per mu, and then shallow ploughing is carried out to make the soil fertilizer uniform, and after fine raking, it can be sown.

3. Replenish seedlings with inter-seedlings

Generally, the seedlings are carried out in the middle and last ten days of May, and the seedlings must be watered before the seedlings are watered, and the seedlings need to be taken with wooden sledge. in order to ensure the whole seedling, we must make good use of the seedlings reasonably.

4. Ploughing and weeding

From the end of May to the beginning of June, there are more Rain Water, and the soil is easy to consolidate, so drainage and waterlogging prevention must be carried out in time. According to the growth situation of heavy buildings, intermediate ploughing and weeding should be carried out regularly, and shallow soil should be loosened.

5. Proper shading

Because heavy buildings like shade and avoid strong light, it is appropriate to enter 40-50% in the process of growth, so appropriate shading is needed after emergence and transplanting, shading nets can be used or branches can be planted next to them.

6. Reasonable topdressing

In general, heavy buildings grow relatively fast from mid-to late June to August, and a sufficient amount of fertilizer should be applied at the beginning of June. About 2000-3000 kg of soil fertilizer can be applied per mu, and about 20-30 kg of mixed calcium can be applied together.

7. Timely harvest

The heavy building is harvested from November to December to the spring of next year, and the tuber generally grows in the topsoil layer, which is convenient for mining, keep the tuber intact as far as possible, wash it after digging, and slice it to dry.
