Soil: select sandy soil with fertile soil and good air permeability. Planting: mix with appropriate amount of mature organic fertilizer and sandy loam soil to cover soil or plant soil. Fertilizer and water: 10-15 kg of mature farm manure can be applied to each hole, and thin dung water can be applied every 30 days after the seedlings survive. Lead vine: when the young tree grows to 40-50 cm, set up the pillar in time and pull the vine on the shelf. Flowering: it blossoms in June and enters the official fruiting period in the second year.

1. Soil

It is suitable to be planted in sandy loam with rich soil, loose texture and good air permeability, but not in clayey soil, tight sandy soil, cold sandy soil and easily scoured land. It is suitable for neutral and slightly acidic soil whose pH value is below PH7.0.

II. Colonization

When planting seedlings, the old leaves should be cut off, and then the nutrition bag should be removed. An appropriate amount of mature organic fertilizer can be used to mix well with sandy loam soil to make cover soil or fixed planting soil. When planting, root system should be straightened out, then layered filling soil should be filled, and the soil should be drenched thoroughly. When planting seedlings, the rhizome should be 8-10cm higher than the ground, and the tree plate should be cut out after planting, and covered with 50 × 50cm plastic film.

Third, fertilizer and water

When planting passionflower, you can apply appropriate amount of base fertilizer while digging holes. Generally, 10-15kg mature farm fertilizer can be applied to each hole, and then the hole soil can be filled for planting. After the fruit is harvested every year, it is necessary to combine pruning and weeding to apply sufficient base fertilizer, each plant can be applied 8-10kg mature organic fertilizer, topdressing is carried out after planting survival, once every 30 days, first light and then concentrated, mainly the application of thin dung water.

Fourth, draw the vine

When the young tree grows to 40-50cm, it is necessary to build a pillar in time to pull the young tree vine on the shelf. When the young tree main vine grows to 70-80cm, two lateral vines should be retained, and then they should be pulled on the shelf as the first main vine. When the plant grows to 1.5-1.6m, a strong lateral branch should be retained, and the extended branch of the main vine should be used as the second main branch at the same time, and then be pulled up in the opposite direction to form a double-layer four-branch vine.

5. Flowering

The flower buds of passionflower are differentiated in the same year, usually while sprouting, from flower bud differentiation to flowering for about 30 days. The cuttings planted in that year generally blossom in June, and a small amount of fruit will appear on the market in August. In the second year, it will enter the official fruiting period. It will blossom many times from March to November each year, and one flower can be formed on each branch base of the flowering section. It can form 4-6 normal flowers continuously, and then save energy every 2-3 to form normal growing flowers.

VI. Results

The fruit ripening time of passionflower is mainly determined by the flowering season. generally, flowers blooming in May-June will mature 50-60 days after flowering, flowers from August to September need 70-90 days to mature, and flowers that bloom after October need 100-120 days to mature. Usually, the seed setting rate of artificial pollination is higher, and there will be ripe fruit to be picked from mid-June to early February of the following year. The more concentrated harvest periods are early July and late October, respectively.
