Temperature: the suitable temperature for growth is 20-30 ℃. Moisture: keep the basin soil moist. Ventilation: put it in a ventilated place for breeding. Fertilization: apply bean cake liquid fertilizer every half a month. Prune: prune old leaves every 1-2 months. Control diseases: timely control of leaf spot, anthracnose, gray blight, brown spot and so on.

1. Soil

Color leaf evergreen likes to grow in loose, fertile, weakly acidic, well drained sandy loam and humus soil, during which 60% of rotten leaf soil, 30% sand and 10% barnyard manure can be mixed and cultured.

Second, lighting

1. Evergreen leaves like to grow in a semi-shady environment, and they need 2-3 hours of scattered sunlight every day, but avoid direct light, otherwise the leaves will stand upright, become smaller, turn yellow, or burn and whiten in a large area.

2. more sunlight is needed in the morning and evening in spring and autumn. if it is placed in a dark corner for a long time, it will lead to the growth and weakness of stems and leaves, and the color of leaves will gradually fade, during which artificial lighting can be strengthened or moved to outdoor breeding.

Third, temperature

The color leaf evergreen likes to grow in a warm environment, and the suitable temperature for growth is 20-30 ℃. It is necessary to keep the temperature at 12-16 ℃ in winter, and to control the amount of water and stop fertilizing. It is easy to lose leaves when the temperature is lower than 12 ℃, and freeze injury occurs when the temperature is too low.

4. Moisture

Color leaf evergreen likes to grow in a humid environment, growing more exuberantly from April to September, so it is necessary to pour enough water, but do not let the basin soil appear the phenomenon of stagnant water, otherwise it will lead to rotten roots of yellow leaves, in the hot summer, it is necessary to spray water on the soil around the flowerpot many times, which is conducive to increasing air humidity.

V. ventilation

Color leaf evergreen is a large leaf plant, so it should be cultured in a ventilated place, requiring fresh and circulating air, but to prevent strong wind, through the hall wind, dry and cold wind, so as to avoid damage to the leaves.

VI. Fertilization

Generally speaking, the colored leaf evergreen grows sturdily and rapidly, so it needs more fertilizer. In the process of growth, it is necessary to ensure that the liquid fertilizer of bean cake is applied every 15 days, and when Lesser Cold and Greater Cold are required to overwintering, phosphate fertilizer should be applied once respectively, not too much nitrogen fertilizer, and thin fertilizer should be applied frequently during the overwintering period.

7. Pruning

In the process of breeding, it is also necessary to gently wipe the leaf surface with a sponge dipped in warm water once a month to prevent the stomata from being blocked by oil dirt and soot, and to properly trim some old leaves every 1-2 months, which can promote the rapid and powerful growth of new leaves.

VIII. Prevention and control of diseases

The main results are as follows: 1. The common diseases of color leaf evergreen are bacterial leaf spot, anthracnose, gray blight, brown spot, stem rot, virus, ring disease, gray mold and so on.

2. In the early or later stage of the disease, 0.5% of Bordeaux solution or 50% carbendazim 800 times solution can be sprayed to prevent and control leaf spot disease, once a week for 3-4 times.

3. When brown spot occurs, you can spray 500 times of 25% Chlorothalonil wettable powder, 800 times of 40% chlorothalonil suspension, 800 times of 25% EC, and 800 times of 70% mancozeb wettable powder in the early stage of the disease. Once every 10 days or so, it needs to be prevented and treated 3-4 times.
