Propagation and seedling cultivation: apricot trees can be planted by grafting, sowing and transplanting. Planting: planted in sandy soil with deep soil layer and good drainage, each hole can be applied with appropriate amount of mature organic fertilizer. Fertilizer and water: appropriate amount of urea and potassium sulfate compound fertilizer can be applied during the growth period, and watering should be carried out according to the dry humidity of the soil. Pruning: cut off diseased and withered branches in time, and carry out heart-picking and thinning.

I. Propagation and breeding

1. Grafting is generally used to plant apricot trees, of course, we can also choose to sow and propagate before the land freezes in autumn and winter, and transplanting is mainly used in the north.

2. After the nursery stock grows to a certain height, the sturdy branches can be cut and transplanted. Generally, the suitable height is about 80cm, and the survival rate of such seedlings will be higher.

II. Colonization

The main results are as follows: 1. if we choose to plant in the sandy soil with deep soil layer and good drainage, we can determine the reasonable row-plant spacing according to the local actual situation.

2. Before planting, an appropriate amount of mature organic fertilizer should be applied in the pit, the root system should be fully stretched during planting, the soil should be added gently and firmly, and the sinking tree hole should be filled with water after planting.

Third, fertilizer and water

The main results are as follows: 1. When the new shoot grows to about 15cm, quick-acting fertilizer can be applied. Generally, underground topdressing and foliar spraying are carried out alternately, and appropriate amount of organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer can be applied from the end of September to the beginning of October.

2. Appropriate amount of urea can be applied after plastic shed and before sprouting, appropriate amount of potassium sulfate compound fertilizer can be applied from flowering to fruit expansion period, and urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be sprayed for 10-15 days, and 500 times liquid can be sprayed to increase yield at the same time.

3. Generally, the seedlings should be watered once after planting, and then the amount and time of watering should be determined according to the specific conditions in the later stage.

4. Pruning

1. If you want to increase the yield of apricot trees, you need to do a good job of pruning. Generally, in the process of apricot growth, diseased and dead branches should be cut off in time, otherwise the nutrition of apricot trees will be absorbed and the trunk will be lost.

2. From the fruit expansion period to the fruit maturity, the new shoots can be picked many times, which is beneficial to control the vigorous growth of the new shoots, increase the fruit setting rate and single fruit weight, and erase or twist the upright new shoots on the back during the period. Avoid "growing trees on the tree" from deteriorating the light inside the crown.

3. After the fruit is harvested and uncovered in the first and middle of May, the branches can be cut short for thinning, which is beneficial to adjust the growth balance of the tree and prevent the overgrowth of the plant.

4. For general young trees and primary fruit trees, both shaping and fruiting should be taken into account in winter pruning. During this period, the main branches, lateral branches and extended branches can be trimmed and lengthened lightly, and the total branch length should be cut short. The developing branches with moderate growth and relatively open angle need to be released slowly to promote the sprouting of medium and short branches, which is beneficial to increase the number of fruiting branches.

5. after flowering or fruiting, it is necessary to retract and cultivate into the fruiting branch group in time, and pick apricot in time after ripening, otherwise it will lead to a large number of fruit drop and a decrease in yield.
