Variety selection: select early-maturing varieties with strong disease resistance, high quality and high yield. Soil preparation and fertilization: choose to plant in the land with convenient irrigation and drainage, flat terrain, loose and fertile soil, apply appropriate amount of mature organic fertilizer and three-element compound fertilizer per mu, and then turn the soil deeply. Seed treatment: soak the garlic cloves with water and chemicals before sowing. Sowing at the right time: sow from mid-late September to early October. Field management: in the later stage of growth, a small bow shed should be built and covered with thin film for heat preservation.

I. Variety selection

First of all, early-maturing varieties with strong disease resistance and stress resistance, wide and soft leaves, short growth period, high quality and high yield were selected, such as Quanzhou garlic, Zhongnong No. 1, Zhongnong No. 3 and so on.

II. Soil preparation and fertilization

The main results are as follows: 1. It is suitable to plant in the soil with good water retention, convenient irrigation and drainage, flat terrain and loose and fertile soil, generally with food crops or non-onion and garlic vegetables as the previous stubble.

2. Before soil preparation, about 1500kg can be applied per mu of rotten organic fertilizer and 45% of the three-element compound fertilizer 50kg, and then turn the soil deeply and make the border flat. Generally, it is suitable for the border width to be 100-120cm and the height to be about 20cm.

3. Seed treatment

1. Before sowing, garlic cloves with large and round shape, neat cloves, no damage and no disease spots should be selected as garlic seeds. Before sowing, garlic cloves are soaked in clean water for 12 hours. After being removed, the seeds are soaked with 60% benzimidacloprid suspension seed coating agent 200 times, plus 98% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution 500 times solution for 30 minutes.

2. After being fished out and dried, the seeds can be sown, which is beneficial to kill the bacteria on the garlic seed, make the seedlings strong and strong, so as to improve the disease resistance of garlic seedlings.

Fourth, sow seeds at the right time

1. During the period, the time of sowing can be determined according to the time on the market. Generally, new garlic has a dormant period of 3 months, and you can choose to sow seeds one after another from mid-late September to early October.

2. During the period, the garlic cloves were trenched according to the row spacing of 10-15cm, the garlic cloves were inserted into the soil according to the plant spacing of 3-5cm, the depth was 2-3cm, and then the soil was trampled gently with 200kg per mu. After the sowing was finished, the garlic seeds were watered and moisturized, and the silver-black double-color mulch was covered with 1.4m wide silver-black mulch before the garlic seeds emerged.

V. Field management

1. After garlic emerges, the membrane should be broken in time, which is beneficial to the healthy growth of garlic. Generally, on the basis of applying sufficient bottom fertilizer and watering enough bottom water, there is no need to water and top fertilizer in the early stage.

2. When garlic seedlings grow to about 15cm, they can be combined with watering, urea 10kg per mu can be applied, and 0.3% urea and 30 mg / kg gibberellin solution can be used for foliar spraying in the later stage.

3. As the temperature continues to drop, in the later growth period, generally before and after Frosts Descent, a small bow shed should be built in time and covered with film to ensure the robust growth of garlic seedlings.

VI. Timely harvest

Generally, about 70 days after sowing, when the garlic seedlings grow to more than 30-50cm, they can be harvested in batches according to the market situation.
