Planting time: it can be planted all the year round. Select seeds: select high-quality seeds within the shelf life. Loose soil: garden soil can be mixed with a small amount of coal ash. Seed germination: soak in warm water for 3-5 hours, remove and wrap the seeds in a wet towel and put them in a place with a temperature of 15-20 ℃. Sow seeds: sow on prepared loose soil and cover a layer of soil. Post-maintenance: apply thin fertilizer after growing leaves.

First, planting time

1. Spinach has a strong ability to adapt to the environment, so it can be planted all the year round. Spinach is divided into four kinds: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

2. It is planted in March in spring, from May to July in summer, from August to September in autumn, and from October to early November in winter.

Second, select seeds

Selecting high-quality seeds is the key to planting spinach seeds, because poor-quality seeds will affect the survival rate of spinach after planting, during which you should pay attention to the shelf life of the seeds, if the spinach is planted, the seeds have passed the shelf life, even if careful maintenance is carried out, it is difficult to promote the seeds to sprout.

III. Loose soil

The soil for planting spinach seeds needs to be fertile and loose and has good air permeability. Ordinary garden soil can meet this requirement. Generally, a small amount of coal ash can be added to the garden soil to avoid poor air permeability and water permeability of the soil. The occurrence of stagnant water in the basin or soil consolidation is not conducive to the normal growth of spinach.

Fourth, seed germination

Before planting, we also need to accelerate the germination of the seeds. First, soak the spinach seeds in warm water for 3-5 hours, then fish them out, and then take 20 hours for cold water to fish out. Then wrap the seeds in wet towels and put them in a suitable temperature of 15-20 ℃, waiting for the seeds to germinate.

5. Sow seeds

During this period, the successfully germinated spinach seeds are sprinkled on the prepared loose soil, and the germinated bud tip is generally upward, and then sprinkled with a layer of soil to cover the seeds, the thickness of which is about 2-3 times the seed volume. then put it in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance.

VI. Late maintenance

1. Watering the soil in time during maintenance, soak the soil with a sprayer every day, pay attention to the amount of water not too large, to prevent washing away the seeds, generally wait for 7 days to grow seedlings, and then normal maintenance of spinach seedlings, wait until the growth of leaves, and then begin to apply thin fertilizer.

2, about a month and a half will be almost ripe, at this time can be picked and eaten, spinach is rich in carotene, vitamin C, vitamin K, minerals, etc., during which it can be used to cook soup, cold dressing, single stir-fry, or stir-fry with meat dishes or cushion plate. Spinach with rich green color, red roots, no water, non-aging stems and leaves, no moss flowering, no yellow leaves is the best.
