How to cure peach disease?

Peach, because of its wide market sales, good economic benefits and easy cultivation and management, is favored by many farmers and is widely cultivated in China. So, how to treat peach trees and peach fruit diseases?

How to treat the diseases of peach trees and peaches

The main diseases are peach scab and peach anthracnose.

1. Peach scab

It is mainly harmful to fruits, but also to shoots and leaves. During the initial disease of the fruit, dark green round spots appeared on the fruit surface, and then gradually expanded.

Preventive measures: spray Baume 5 °stone sulfur mixture before germination to eradicate or reduce the source of overwintering bacteria on branches. From half a month to June, spray Baume 0.2-0.4 °stone sulfur mixture every half a month, 0.5 100 zinc sulfate lime solution; combine pruning in winter to remove diseased branches, or eliminate and reduce the source of overwintering disease.

2. Peach anthracnose

Symptoms: young fruit infected with dark brown, stagnant development, atrophy and sclerosis. When the larger fruit is infected, dark green water stains appear on the initial fruit surface, and the enlarged depression is dark brown.

Preventive measures: in winter, combined with pruning to remove diseased branches and fruits, reduce the source of disease; spray Baume 5 °stone sulfur mixture before germination, spray 600 times of organic sulfur preparation from large beans, or 1000 times of methyl thiophanate wettable powder; pay attention to orchard drainage, proper fertilization to prevent overgrowth.
